Today we said goodbye to our patriarch, Cooper.
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to our incredible boy, Cooper, who passed away today.
He lived every single day of his life to the absolute fullest. He was pure, boundless energy, and he brought so much light and laughter into our home.
He was a dog of simple, glorious pleasures, the perfect patch of sunlight to nap in, long, joyful jumps into the pool, digging the most impressive, deep holes a yard has ever see and the thrill of the hunt, especially when catching snakes and moles!
He spent the last little while fighting hard, and it was so difficult watching him struggle with eating and getting up and down. While we are completely devastated by this loss, we are finding peace knowing our sweet Cooper is finally free of pain and running with unlimited energy once more.
Thank you, my beautiful boy, for 15 wonderful years. We will miss your vibrant spirit every single day. Run free, buddy. We love you more than words can say.
