Wicked Houndz Kennels offers exclusive board and train programs which are tailored to best fit the needs of your dog.
In a board and train program the owner will leave their dog with us for 3-10 weeks, depending on the package selected, and the training begins the moment your dog arrives. We tailor our training to fit all breeds, and we will not turn a single breed away.
General requirements for our programs:
Your dog must be at least 4 months of age with proof of completing their core�puppy vaccines.
What are the different programs offered?
3-week package
This 3-week package provides basic fundamentals which are ideal for dogs who lack any previous foundation or training. While this package is great for new beginner dogs, or puppies, it is tailored to fit any age or breed of dog.
Package includes:
The package includes basic on leash obedience training for your dog, including, but not limited to:
* walking controllably on leash
* sit
* down
* stay
* wait at doors
* wait while on walks
* go to “place”
* manners around people: off-commands (to eliminate jumping), waiting politely to be pet by friends and family
What to expect at the end of these 3-weeks:
At the end of the 3 week package you and your dog will be equipped to establish a better relationship and connection built through basic fundamental obedience. You and your dog will be set up with a go home session where we educate you on how to maintain these behaviors and keep your pup’s obedience in tip top shape!
5-week package
This package includes all of the basic obedience and fundamentals from the beginner 3-week package with an added step towards more advanced training. This program is ideal for a client that seeks a higher standard of training that builds a confident dog both on and off the leash. This program includes an e-collar, which is a tool used to solidify your basic on leash skills while guiding your training towards off leash obedience by creating a reliable dog.
Package includes:
* all basic obedience included in 3-week package
* e-collar supplied by us
* place cot
* 2 training field trips to public places such as Home Depot or local hiking trails
What to expect at the end of these 5-weeks:
At the end of this 5-week camp you and your dog will have the tools needed for controlled on leash obedience, with an advancement towards off leash control. This helps bring confidence in knowing that you can maintain your dog’s obedience even without a leash. At the end of their 5 week stay, you will be included with a go home session for your dog as well as 2 follow up sessions as needed.
10-week package
This premium package is designed to create the ultimate companion who is trained to take on various social and physical circumstances. This curriculum includes all of the benefits of the previous packages, with an added proofing-period allowing your dog to solidify their off leash obedience in highly distracting environments. This level of training is designed for owners seeking an elite dog trained to adjust to a multitude of situations. Ultimately, this training helps to create a stable and obedient dog both on and off leash no matter where you go.

* all obedience included in the previous packages
* e-collar supplied by us
* place cot
* 4-6 training field trips to public places such as Home Depot and local hiking trails
What to expect at the end of these 10-weeks:
At the end of this 10-week program, you will have the tools needed to conquer your training both on and off leash with a dog who is superiorly adjusted to different situations. At the end of their stay you will be included with a go home session for you and your dog, as well as 4 private follow up sessions as needed.
