Just tips to help your vet and groomer. Things you could be doing at home to help your pups not be completely caught off guard. It helps us make sure your pups have a good experience while they are at the groomers or vets office. Also for clients that like their dogs nails filed an electric tooth brush works wonders. You just place it around their paws to get them used to the vibration sensation. Thank you and happy Saturday!

Trimming your dog's nails is essential to prevent painful posture changes, joint strain, and serious injuries. Overgrown nails hit the ground and push the toes upward, which alters your dog's gait and can cause long-term damage to their legs and spine.Health and Safety ReasonsJoint alignment: Short nails allow paw pads to touch the ground flat, keeping toes, wrists, and elbows aligned correctly.Pain prevention: Long nails push into the nail bed or curl around to pierce the paw pad, causing severe pain and infection.Traction and balance: Excessively long nails act like high heels, causing dogs to slip and fall on smooth indoor floors.Injury avoidance: Long claws easily snag on carpets, blankets, or deck boards, which can tear the entire nail out or break a toe.Dewclaw safety: The inner dewclaws never touch the ground to wear down naturally, making them prone to curling and growing straight into the skin if ignored.

Hello to my previous clients as well as potential new clients. After taking a long break I am ready to start back at it again. This is for pets that are nervous to get in cars or go to the groomers or for people who have difficulty on their own to get their animals to the groomers. I will drive to you and cut your pups nails. I charge $20 no matter the breed or size. If you have multiple pets I give a $5 discount for every pet after the first. You can message me through here or contact me through my cell 386-517-4417 ask for Michelle. Let’s get your pups back to having manicured toes.

-The importance of having your dogs nails trimmed-
Dogs have a vein in their toenails. When their nail is overgrown the vein grows as well. Causing pain on their paws when they walk. As well as making it difficult to cut their nails as we can only go as short as where the vein begins. Not being able to take your dog to the groomer should not be a reason to not have their nails cut. That’s where I come in to help people who can’t. I take pride in what I do. I am a dog groomer but I do not do mobile grooming(don’t have the proper equipment to do so). Message me to book appointment and I will accommodate you. Thank you in advance. I look forward to meeting your furry friends.
