🐾🦷 February is Pet Dental Health Month!
Animals do not always show signs of oral pain or discomfort, often leading owners to be unaware of dental problems.
Pet Dental Health Month is a great reminder that pet dental checks are just as important as they are for us.
A small animal dental cleaning consists of ultrasonic scaling of the teeth, polishing of the teeth, and a more detailed oral exam once the tartar is removed to determine periodontal pockets, abscess teeth or other problems not seen underneath tartar build up. Removing tartar allows the determination if any extractions are necessary.
