Our Executive Director, Rhonda Fritzshall, and Board Member Margaret Angarola had the opportunity to attend today’s Collaborative Training Workshop, gaining valuable insights into the evolving nonprofit landscape.

One takeaway that stood out: 84% of philanthropy is emotional - connection inspires action.

They’re bringing back fresh perspectives on strengthening relationships, adapting to change, and creating even greater impact through the work of HERD Foundation.

We’re grateful for opportunities to learn alongside our nonprofit community and bring that knowledge back to our mission💙

🇺🇸 In honor of America’s 250th birthday, we were honored to welcome Veterans from our community to the farm for a special Veterans Open House. It was a wonderful opportunity to share information about HERD Foundation, introduce our incredible horses, and foster meaningful connections among fellow Veterans.

At HERD Foundation, all Veteran programming is made possible through the generosity of our donors, community partners, and supporters. We are incredibly grateful for the community that makes this work possible.

A special thank you to Dr. Peate for joining us and for supporting our mission to serve those who have served our country. Thank you to all the Veterans who spent part of their holiday weekend with us, we look forward to seeing you again soon! ❤️🤍💙🐴

From the cavalry horses that carried our nation’s earliest defenders to the horses that continue to help Veterans heal today, these remarkable partners have long been woven into America’s story.

This Fourth of July, HERD Foundation proudly celebrates America’s 250th birthday while honoring the Veterans whose sacrifices protect the freedoms we cherish. We remain committed to serving those who served - one Horse, one Veteran, and one Life at a time.
