Too often, people ask if a cat is good with kids, as if all the responsibility belongs to the cat.

But cats have limits too.

They should not have to accept tight hugs, pulling, chasing, loud hands, or being picked up when they clearly want down.

Children are still learning.
That is why the adults have to teach them.

Soft hands.

❤️ WHY WE RESCUE ❤️

Sometimes rescue begins with one person simply refusing to look the other way. 🐾

A very special shout-out to Harvey in Miami, who saw this sweet little girl in an unsafe, busy area and stepped in to save her. Because of him, Myra is safe today. ❤️

Harvey also spends his time caring for the many street kitties in his area, providing food, love and compassion to cats who have nowhere else to turn. He quietly does so much for these animals, and now he could use a little help from our rescue community. 🙏🏻

This precious little girl is now safe and looking for her forever family. She is available for pre-adoption and will be spayed, vaccinated and ready to go to her new home around the end of September after she is spayed.

This sweet baby was saved by a wonderful family from the side of busy intersection. He was so hungry and scared. Today he joined our rescue. Now he is safe with a full round belly.

Skyler is available to preadopt. After he is fixed the end of October, can go to his forever home.

Why we Rescue.

Adopted today together. Mommy and one baby. Both are Manx mix. No tails at all.
