Meet Rocco! 🦜
He is a two year old male Miligold Macaw (hybrid between a Military X Blue & Gold) that is looking for a new family and a fresh start. Rocco is a high energy and spunky guy that does great on a tree stand and loves to wonder around. He was very loved by his previous home but they had to relocate and unfortunately he could not make the move with them.
A little about Rocco that we learned about him while he’s been settling in-
He can sometimes be a touch difficult to get out of his cage but with some patience he will step up. He will immediately come out on his own but likes to go to the top which we are working on him with.
He’s adventurous! He does great on a tree stand but will wonder around after a bit so he will need lots of enrichment to keep him busy. Speaking of enrichment, this guy loves toys! Anything wood is his favorite.
Pistachio’s are the way to this boys heart 💙 they are his favorite treat so we have been utilizing them as his trading reward.
He is not found of four legged friends-his previous home noted he is scared of dogs 🐶 this may be something he could be desensitized to with a little TLC.
Stop by to meet this handsome guy and see if he would make a great addition to your flock.

At TMBE we strive to help as many feathered friends as we can. While we raise many baby birds, rehoming is something very near and dear to our hearts. We have a great success rate of matching birds needing a second chance to incredible families. We encourage prospective homes to come in and spend as much time with a new bird as possible and our support doesn’t end there.
