It is with a heavy heart we announce the departure of one of our favorite veterinarians, Dr. Anthony Fernandez.
I wasn't sure how to summarize how impactful his time here has been so I collected statements from his colleagues and teammates to post here, feel free to read all the wonderful things our team had to say about him, and please add your own to the comments or tag us in a post of your own.
"Working with Dr. Anthony has helped advance the careers and knowledge of so many people in this field. He always took the time to teach, explain, and support others whenever he could. It will be hard to imagine this place without him. I'm truly grateful for all the memories we made and the laughter we shared. We know he is moving on the greater things, and any clinic would be fortunate to have him. Thank you for being such a wonderful coworker, mentor, and friend. "Dr. Anthony is one of the most patient doctors that I've ever worked with. He is kind, compassionate, he's really good with clients and patients. "Without Dr. Anthony I wouldn't have gotten this job. He was willing to have a phone call with me about my goals for the future before even knowing who I was. My favorite memory was sitting down in the Dr.'s office and asking how I know if i should be a tech or a DVM. Dr. Anthony have me a lot of great information and some words that really stuck with me. "It's not easy to put into words what you've meant to all of us, because you've been so much more than justa doctor- you've been a steady presence, a source of comfort, and someone who truly leads with heart. Your kindness shows up in everything you do. Whether it's the way you greet people with that constant smile, the laughter you bring into even the busiest days, or the genuines care you show to every patient and their owners it never goes unnoticed. You have a way of making people feel at ease heard and valued and that's something truly special. The compassion you have for your patients is remarkable.
