I am not sure how to say this so I am going to put it bluntly...

In the last several months we have asked for donations to help with food and bills. And while I am so so thankful for our faithful supporters, there are only a small amout of them, so their donations have mainly covered food. Still leaving us short.

To add some reality to this...Over the last 2 weeks I personally have used my own money through home equity to pay for some stuff...here is the breakdown.
Vet bill - $1,051.68
Food - $443.01
Insurance and utilities - $1950.88

That is a total of $3,445.57 in the last 2 weeks!!

Guys, I dont have this kind of money. I have a lot of medical problems and I'm on disability because of it.
I don't get paid to do animal rescue. I do it because saving animals has always been on my heart ❤️ However I can't take on the county's animal problems alone and finance the whole thing myself.
Its very discouraging, but I just can't look at any animal in my care and let them continue to be in pain (eye surgery) or to have animals that aren't spayed/neutered. That's just irresponsible.

We still have a vet bill. We had to have 3 dogs seen last week for shots and allergies.
This week we are having 2 spayed/neutered, 1 with eye surgery. Our 10 pit puppies will be going to get their first shots this week. We also are in need of more cat, dog, and puppy food, potty pads, paper towels and gloves.

I dont want to beg but thats what I feel like im doing. If it wasnt for the food pantry, I, wouldn't have much food in my house for myself because the animals come first.

About a week late but... Want to say a huge THANK YOU to US Aggregates for donating pea gravel for the dog area. It has made it so much easier to clean.
Also THANK YOU to Kenton Trailer Rentals for the use of one of the dump trailers to haul the gravel. And to my dad, Dennis Draper for the use of his truck to pull the trailer.
I couldnt have gotten the back dog area cleaned up without the help from these three. So blessed to have their support.

Oh, and I cant forget, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to the 3 gentleman, Scott, Parker, and Jackson, who helped spread the gravel in this heat. You guys are awesome!

Need for today...adult dog food, paper towels, and bleach. As the puppies get older, the messes get bigger.

The adult dog food we use is Purina ONE lamb and rice. Or anything that has any meat as the first ingredient other than chicken. There are several of our dogs that get sick from the chicken.

Recently, the rescue was targeted by a sophisticated scam. This fraudulent activity has completely depleted our operating funds and left our bank account in the negative. In light of this financial strain, we are looking to lighten the load on our kennel space while finding forever happiness for some of our most deserving, patient residents.
