I have been a Vet Tech in the past, a Nurse for 35 years, and have fostered/rescued many dogs thru the years. your dog will have more fun than you on vacation !! We love our homestead which is a 10 acre farm with lots of room to run! A fenced in area is provided for those who are not trusted off leash and we even have our own secluded walking trails thru our woods. We spend a lot of time outside and highly recommend all dogs be treated for prevention of heartworm, flea and tick at minimum. PROFILE: My name is Laurie and my family is well experienced with dogs. I've been boarding dogs for years and we have two female Labradors who are very adjusted to constant visitors in our home. We also have had the fortune of experiencing several litters of Labrador pups from our Mama Mia. Many of the adopted dogs come back for our family to dog sit while their new owners vacation. Our fenced yard is just the right size for a good run around and the toys in the doggie toy box are usually overflowing. My goal is to provide your family's' pet the individual loving attention that they are used to getting just like at home. Usually I have only 1-2 family pets at a time. I do this because I need lots of animals in my life - and my husband won't let me have more dogs!! or a horse, a mini donkey , etc !!!!- jk :)
I look forward to meeting you all. Kennels only used if a dog requires one. They sleep wherever they want to. Kitchen floor is favorite place at dinner time...lol
No extended stays with new clients until we get to know your dog. Meet and greet is required before accepting a reservation. Must be up to date on all basic vaccinations. Spayed or neutured. and socially adjustable to other dogs. Location is near the Duck Inn Restaurant off 89 and Route A in Delavan.
