🐾❤️ PICKLES IS HOME! ❤️🐾

Our sweet boy is home, and you would never know he just had surgery! He is acting like absolutely nothing happened and is back to his spunky, sweet, sassy self! 🥰

We are keeping him lightly sedated to help him stay calm and give his little body time to heal. Because, of course, Pickles thinks he’s ready to get right back to business as usual! 😂

The one thing he is NOT happy about? The cone of shame! 🤣 Poor guy is less than thrilled with his new fashion accessory!

We are so happy to have our boy home and are incredibly grateful to the amazing team at UF for taking such wonderful care of him! ❤️🐾

Now comes the hard part… convincing Pickles that he actually needs to rest.

🐾❤️ Mr. Pickles Update! ❤️🐾

Yesterday, I took Mr. Pickles to the University of Florida for his surgical consultation, and everything went really well! They decided to keep him overnight, and today he underwent laparoscopic surgery to remove his spleen and the mass.

While they were in there, they also took a biopsy of his liver and examined his other organs. Thankfully, everything else looked good! 🙏❤️

I’m so relieved that his surgery went well! Now we wait for the biopsy results and focus on getting our little guy healed up.

As long as he continues to do well, he should be coming home tomorrow afternoon! 🏡🐶

Thank you to everyone who has been checking in, sending love, and keeping our sweet Mr. Pickles in your thoughts. We appreciate it more than you know! ❤️🐾

🎉 GOOD NEWS for Mr. Pickles! 🎉

Pickles’ CT scan revealed NO signs of cancer! 🙏❤️ We are so incredibly relieved and grateful for this news!

We will still be moving forward with having his spleen removed. There is a slight chance that the mass on his spleen could still be cancerous, but if it is, we’ve hopefully caught it very early. Removing it now is the best option before it has the chance to grow, spread, rupture, or cause any other problems.

For tonight, we are celebrating the good news and feeling very thankful. 🥹🐾❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who has been checking on Pickles, sending prayers, and keeping our little guy in your thoughts. It means more to us than you know! 💕

Mr. Pickles is here for his CT scan today. 🐾💙

We’re praying hard for good news and, most of all, NO CANCER. 🙏 Please keep my sweet boy in your thoughts and prayers today. ❤️

We met a friend in the lobby, and his side eye game is strong after he realized where we were. 🥺
