We want to share that Dr. Pamela Schrager will be leaving FloridaWild Veterinary Hospital to begin an exciting new chapter.
We are grateful for the expertise, dedication, and compassion Dr. Schrager has shared with our patients, clients, and team throughout her time with us. While we are sad to see her go, we wish her the very best in her future endeavors.

🚤 “A boat doesn’t go forward if everyone is rowing their own way.”

This was our quote of the week and a reminder of how important teamwork is in everything we do. Every member of our team brings different strengths, but we are all rowing toward the same goal: supporting one another and providing the best possible care for our patients and clients. 💚

To have a little fun with the boat theme, Angelica, our Hospital Manager, and Erin, our Staff Manager, traded their usual work attire for Hawaiian shirts! 🌺 We promise there was a reason for the tropical outfits. 😂

🎉 We have some very exciting news to share! 💚🐾

We are so excited to officially welcome Dr. Villanueva back to FloridaWild this September, this time as our Medical Director! 🩺

Dr. Villanueva is definitely no stranger to FloridaWild. She previously worked alongside our team as an Associate Veterinarian, and we are incredibly excited to have her coming home to FloridaWild in this new leadership role.

A Central Florida native, Dr. Villanueva attended the University of Florida for both her undergraduate studies and veterinary degree. Her approach to medicine fits so well with what FloridaWild is all about. She believes in looking at the whole patient, not just treating a diagnosis, and finding individualized ways to improve each pet’s quality of life and help them live their best life.

Her professional interests include diagnostic imaging, geriatric care, pain management, soft tissue surgery, integrative medicine, and exotic animal medicine. She is also trained in Animal Neuro-myofascial Release (ANMR) and ozone therapy and has received mentorship in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.

As our Medical Director, Dr. Villanueva is looking forward to helping us continue to grow while staying true to what makes FloridaWild special. She is passionate about supporting our veterinary team, continuing to strengthen the medicine we provide, expanding the integrative and advanced care options available to our patients, and bringing conventional and integrative medicine together to provide the best individualized care possible.

We have a lot to look forward to, and we are so excited for this next chapter at FloridaWild with Dr. Villanueva helping lead the way. 💚

She will officially be joining us during the last week of September, but we couldn’t wait any longer to share the news!

Please join us in welcoming Olivia, our new CSR, to the FloridaWild team! 🐾

Olivia grew up on a farm in West Virginia, where her lifelong love for animals of all shapes and sizes began. After spending many childhood summers visiting Orlando and falling in love with Florida, she traded the mountains for the sunshine after graduating high school and began her journey in the animal care industry.

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys going to the beach, spending time in nature, and relaxing with her husband and their many pets, including three dogs, four cats, and a White’s tree frog!

Olivia hopes to continue learning and growing within the veterinary field, with plans to eventually become a veterinary technician and continue working her way up from there.

We’re so excited to have Olivia as part of our team! Please help us give her a warm FloridaWild welcome! ❤️🐾
