Additional services provided through partnership with other non-profits:

In partnership with the Voluntary Action Center, we provide free pet food and preventative veterinary care to Meals on Wheels clients who own pets. We also provide free boarding to the pets of domestic violence victims in partnership with Safe Passage Domestic Violence Center, so victims can leave their abuser without fearing for the safety of their pets.

Hi, I’m Isles, and I am one happy pup! 🐾 I’ve come such a long way from where I started, and I’m so proud of how far I’ve grown!
I’ll be honest — it takes me a little while to warm up to new people, and I’m still working on my confidence around men. But once I trust you? I am the BIGGEST love bug. 🐶💕
Here’s a little about me:
✅ I LOVE playing with other dogs — we’ll be best friends!
✅ I can walk on a leash (just give me a little time to get used to you!)
✅ I’m doing great with potty training — just need a little continued patience
✅ Not very reactive, though I haven’t been around kids or cats yet
✅ I go crazy for cozy beds, yummy treats, and my favorite toys
My ideal home is a calm, quiet place with a fenced yard where I can explore and decompress at my own pace. I’m under 4 years old and weigh just over 50 lbs — lots of love in this package! 🏡
With a little patience and a whole lot of kindness, I promise to give you everything I’ve got. 💛

Adoption Update: Max and Ruby (Armadillo)

"They both prefer cardboard boxes over the fancy stuff. They have me trained on a strict schedule for their daily veggies and kibble with many little snacks throughout the day. Luckily for them, I quickly figured out that Max has a taste for anything green while Ruby prefers his colorful veggies like bell peppers and carrots (sparingly). Finally, they recently got the chance to go outside for what I think might have been the first time ever!!! They were freighted for about 2 minutes until they discovered they could eat the grass and lounge back. 😎 Thank you for keeping them safe for me until I could bring them home. 💚"

Hi everyone, my name is Grayson! 😺 I'm a friendly, laid-back kind of guy who knows exactly what the good things in life are — treats, belly rubs, and long cozy naps. Honestly, that's pretty much my perfect day. I love meeting new people and I'm totally chill around other cats, so if you've already got a feline friend at home, no worries — the more the merrier! 🐱 I do have one strong opinion though: mops are NOT to be trusted. We don't need to talk about it. But the sound of a treat bag opening? Now THAT gets my attention every single time. 🎉 If you're looking for a relaxed, affectionate companion who will happily curl up with you and keep your lap warm, I might just be your guy! Hi there, my name is PJ! 🐾 I'm a handsome 5-year-old boy, weighing in at 43 pounds, and I am quickly stealing hearts of volunteers here. I'm a mellow, loving guy who just wants to be close to my people — on a walk by the pond I leaned right into my volunteer's legs like we'd known each other forever. 🥰 I'm smart and eager to please — I already know sit, down, and come, I walk nicely on leash, and I will happily shower you with kisses (especially if treats are involved 🦴). I'm the kind of dog who wants to check in with you, be near you, and make you happy. I do best as the only pet in the home, and I'm looking for a calm household without children 12 and under.
