Aidan can now boast that he has been on a hunter pace, several gymkhanas and a cross country course!

From a rough start to a shining star, Aidan is truly blossoming! Pulled from slaughter in January 2025 after a grueling past as an Amish buggy horse (where he easily logged 20 miles a day), this boy has an incredible work ethic and a motor that just won't quit. While his driving days are firmly behind him, his future under saddle is incredibly bright.
In fact, he just completed his very first under-saddle show with a youth rider and handled the entire experience like an absolute professional—taking everything in without batting an eye!
🐴 The Details:
Under Saddle: Solid walk/trot and currently working on his canter (has been asked and delivered a handful of times). He is proving to be a quick, willing learner!
Ground Manners: Lunges like a dream, loads and trailers like a complete gentleman, and stands perfectly for the vet and farrier (though he’s admittedly not a big fan of shots).
Soundness Note: Aidan has mild stringhalt. It’s most notable when he turns or takes his initial step off from a standstill, but it does not affect him once he is moving and working.
💖 Personality & Ideal Match:
Aidan is a sweet, silly boy with a ton of personality. Because of his past, he can sometimes worry that someone is going to hurt him. He needs a partner who is firm but kind—someone who has the patience and time to keep showing him that people are safe. Once he trusts you, his goofy side really shines.
🍕 Fun Fact: Aidan is a legitimate garbage disposal! He will eat almost anything you offer him, but his absolute favorite treats are slices of pizza and donuts. 🍩
