Behind every small business is a whole family. ❤️
Today was repair day at Scruffy to Fluffy! While my husband tackled some projects, our little helpers wanted to pitch in too. I'm so grateful for my family's support and for all of our wonderful clients who allow us to keep improving the salon. We can't wait to continue giving your pets the best care possible! 🐾

🇺🇸 # Semiquincentennial day, or the Fourth of July, commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, which declared the 13 American colonies' separation from the British Empire and marked the official birth of the United States as a sovereign nation. The holiday is celebrated to honor the principles of freedom, self-governance, and the historic assertion that "all Men are created equal". Today, these ideals are recognized through traditions established as far back as the 18th century. Americans mark the day with: Spectacular firework displays, Patriotic parades, Community gatherings, and barbecues.

🐾 Securing Your Pets 🐾

🐾 Ditch the fireworks: Never bring your pet to a public fireworks display, and don't leave them unattended in your yard. Even the most obedient dogs can scale fences when panicked by the booms.

🐾Create a cozy space: Set up a quiet, familiar retreat in an interior room or a crate covered with a blanket.

🐾Prep for emergencies: If your pet has severe noise anxiety, consult your veterinarian well in advance for situational anti-anxiety medications or calming aids.

🐾Skip the leash walks: Walk your pet early in the day, and keep them securely inside once evening festivities begin.

Happy Independence Day! ☮️❤️🐾🙏🇺🇸🥳🎉

🐾 Some heroes walk on two legs, and some on four. This Memorial Day, we also honor the loyal military working animals who served faithfully beside them.
