Happy new year everyone!!! And what a year 2025 was! I can’t even begin to recount everything that’s happened, from car crashes to weddings it’s been a crazy year!

I want to thank all of my amazing clients for being so understanding and flexible throughout the year as things happened!

With the new year comes some “new” prices. Not all things will increase but I’m going to start charging a little differently depending on if dogs have long haircuts that require alot of extra work or if a dog is consistently difficult to groom and requires a lot of extra time.

Boarding is going up to $30 a day per dog (still well below your average boarding facility where dogs are kenneled a majority of the day) Our “boarding” is in home with other pups to play with, fenced in backyard with shelter, indoor play space, individual kennels for quiet time, and a meet-n-greet before boarding to make sure your pup gets along with mine!

Along with that starting this year I will be charging for no-shows and cancellations with less than a 24hr notice as the amount of them this year significantly increased. There are confirmation text sent 3 days before an appointment and a reminder text sent 24hr before to try to prevent any last minute issues. If for some reason something comes up just let me know asap so we can get something figured out!

Hey everyone!! Long time no post! We currently 6 days away from me and Normans wedding!! I want to thank everyone for being so patient with me as I have definitely been lacking in the department of responding right away with everything going on rn! I will be off this week and next week and will be open again starting Oct 4th! If you are needing appointments please send me a text and I will get back to you with openings asap!

Doggy play ground is here!! Will slowly add more over time!! Maybe even a doggy stock tank pool if I can find one😏

Also I’ll be having a “pup party” on the 4th of July! Morning drop off with a sleep over until Saturday morning! Will get lots of play and exercise all day and then head inside for the night (can be medicated if necessary) and watch a movie with the volume turned waaaaaayyyyy up during the late night festivities! Backyard is a 6ft tall fence and dogs will be monitored closely all day to make sure no one’s nerves get the best of them and they don’t try to make a break for it!

With summer approaching I have a few announcements!

First off! Boarding and daycare will be available this summer! I have a large yard with a 6ft fence and lots of dog houses/beds/outdoor furniture for everyone’s pups! I also have a large part of my basement converted into a dog play space for days it’s too gross for them to be outside!

Second! If you aren’t friends with my personal Facebook I got engaged on Christmas Eve last year and have a wedding date set for September this year! I’ll be doing my best to keep up with everyone that needs appointments as im dealing with all the planning and wedding appointments I have but the sooner you book your next groom (ex. Setting up your pups next appointment 3-4 weeks in advance) the sooner I’ll be able to get you in! Appointments are a first come first serve basis so if I don’t hear back from you about preposed appointment times it’s possible that someone else will take it!

Third! There’s now a dog waist station on the right side of the front yard! Please use it! There’s a lot of dogs that like to potty before/after their groom and that’s completely fine but if they do p**p please please please pick it up!!! Also please keep pets out of the flower beds as they have w**d killer on them! And Please don’t let them go to the bathroom on the small circle bed with the large tree and rocks as I’m trying to turn it into a small memorial garden for a dog of mine that has passed away. On that note if your know any farmers that have piles of field rocks from tilling they’d be willing to let me pick through send them my way!!

Some important things to remember as the weather gets nicer!

A good flea and tick medicine from your vet and regular grooming are crucial to preventing your pet from infestation! Consult your vet and discuss the options youu have that will work the best for you. While medication is important grooming is too! Regular grooming (whether at home or by a professional) helps detect and remove ticks/fleas/eggs and keeping your pets coat clean making it harder for fleas to thrive!

If you find any on your dog follow these steps:

Ticks
1. Use tweezers or a tick removal tool to grasp the tick as close to the skin as possible.
2. Gently twist and pull the tick straight out, avoiding squeezing the body.
3. After removal, clean the area with soap and water.
4. Put the tick in a ziplock bag, label with the date, where on your pet the tick was found and your pets name and then put in fridge. If your pet begins to show concerning signs send the tick off for testing and contact your vet right away.

Fleas:
1. Use a flea comb to remove fleas, their f***s, and dried blood. Focus on the neck and the area around the tail.
2. Clean bedding with hot water and dry on high (or throw away and replace entirely)
3. Bathe your dog in dawn dish soap (be sure to rinse throughly and to do a second wash with a more soothing soap) to remove as many adult fleas/eggs as possible (if this isn’t something you are comfortable with schedule an appointment witb your groomer asap!), consider reaching out to your groomer and asking for good flea shampoo recommendations or a nice conditioner to use after giving a bath with dawn.
4. Talk to your vet about flea preventatives!
