along with moss, dried blooms, and ribbon to create your own lil’ spring cute thing.. KID-friendly - no gluing or anything ..

(AND there are three brand new foster kittens to look at 🐈‍⬛💖)

Valentine’s Day.
It feels irrelevant and trivial, as I sit here with the all-too familiar nausea that comes along with looking at the headlines these mornings.
Let me say first to my black and brown friends and family, I’m so very sorry you have to wake up to these headlines everyday. I’m just so sorry.
And to my children, I truly wish I could protect you from this too - and I try - but I know that I can’t. All I can offer is my fierce love every minute of every day, and also the promise that you don’t have to do this alone because I’ll be here too.

Valentine’s Day? Should we care? I don’t know. Probably not, but I still gotta pay my bills so here’s what I’ll say:
Loving our people matters. Doing things from a place of care matters. Creating matters. Community matters. Justice matters. Intentions matter.

If you feel called to buy something as a tangible statement of love for your Valentine (whether it’s a partner, a friend, a child, or yourself), I have some sweet offerings in my online store. I will accept online preorders until Feb 10.

On vacaaaaaation!

The downtown store is stocked with dried flower bouquets, NA wine and beer, and vintage vases, dishes, and textiles.. I think there are a few Paperwhites left just ready to bloom too! .. anything else will have to wait 🤷🏼‍♀️😌

Amazon can’t help now, but we can!
Last minute gifts..fairy bulb gardens..curated vintage finds like this Japanese-made Glentex scarf from the 70s (which I might need to keep so hurry before I change my mind)..dried flower creations of all sorts to bring life and color on a gray winter’s day..
NA beers and wines so you can be fully present for holiday festivities 🙂
(We’ll be open until at least 4pm..if we’re still getting traffic at that point we’ll stay open a bit longer)

I’m so very grateful for working with these two talented people this wreath season! Nina and Sarah worked in every weather to create beautiful pieces for your homes. Our little tea breaks were the best.. the doggie is devastated that wreath season is over and his favorite friends won’t be coming by so much 😭
