It’s a tuxie, tortie, and house panther takeover!!

Our condo room is currently filled with some seriously beautiful kittens-dapper tuxedos, gorgeous dilute torties, and sleek little black house panthers.

And they’re every bit as sweet as they are beautiful. Each one has their own personality, their own little quirks, and so much love to give. What they don’t have yet is a home of their own.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a cat to your family, come meet this crew!! There are a whole lot of beautiful faces in this room just waiting for someone to fall in love with them.

This beautiful gal has been hanging out at a home on Ranch Road outside of Decorah today. She does appear to be wearing some sort of electric collar. If she is yours or you know where she might belong, please contact HSNEI.

Keep an eye out for Bella in the Watson area! Bella was last see on her family’s farm just off of B45 last Wednesday. She was recently shaved, is not wearing a collar, and is not microchipped. If you or someone you know has taken Bella in, please contact HSNEI to be put in touch with her family.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for the Pup Swim this year!!

To all the dogs who splashed, swam, chased toys, shook water on unsuspecting humans, and made new friends-and to all the people who brought them out to enjoy the fun-we loved having you!!

Our adoptable HSNEI pups had an especially great time getting out of the shelter for an afternoon of swimming, exploring, meeting new friends, and soaking up plenty of attention. We loved seeing them get to be part of all the fun!!

Thank you for coming out, supporting HSNEI and our mission, and helping make events like this so special. Every bit of support helps us continue caring for animals in our community while they wait for families of their own.

We hope you and your pups had as much fun as we did!!

At HSNEI, we prefer our corn in the form of World’s Best Cat Litter!! Made from natural corn, their litter helps us keep our cats’ spaces clean and comfortable while they wait for homes of their own.

As for what HSNEI-alum Murphy plans to do with an entire dozen ears of corn-we’re guessing she hasn’t thought that far ahead!!

Please do not chase or corner him. He is not currently wearing a collar. If you have seen him or taken him in, please contact HSNEI so we can help get him home.

The pups are already making a splash, the rain is holding off, and there’s still plenty of time to join the fun!!

Come see us at the Monona Aquatic Center for the HSNEI Pup Swim, happening now until 3:00 p.m. Bring your pup for a swim, enjoy some treats, and meet adoptable pups Fancy Dan, Jasper, Louis, and Luka!!

Please bring proof of rabies and DAPP vaccinations. Bordetella vaccination is also advised.

Grab the leash and come on over—the pool is waiting!!

The pool is going to the dogs today!!

Bring your pup to the Monona Aquatic Center from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the HSNEI Pup Swim!! The first hour is reserved just for small dogs, followed by open swim for pups of all sizes.

Fancy Dan, Jasper, Louis, and Luka will be joining the fun, too!! Stop by to meet these wonderful adoptable pups—they would love to make some new friends and possibly find the families they’ve been waiting for.

The Pup Swim is still on as planned!! We are watching the weather closely, but it currently looks like any rain should arrive toward the end of the event. If anything changes, we will post an update on our page. A rain date is Sunday, August 30th if needed.

Please bring proof of rabies and DAPP vaccinations. Bordetella vaccination is also advised. Food and snacks for people will be available, along with treats for the pups.

Grab the leash and a towel, and we’ll see you at the pool!!
