Making progress on my Pheasants Forever donation painting. Lots of work yet on the deer and foreground. This will be one of the first paintings that I’ve actually finished, once completed. Do I add a second deer?

For the deer hunters….

What’s on my mind?? DEER…..Upon my sons request, I did a quick sketch this morning of a deer that used to frequent one of the areas I hunt. Jack has challenged my artistic ability. They say you are your own worst critic, that’s not true at all. When he gets home tomorrow he will critique and I will listen. Based the drawing on antlers from the 2021 season, waiting patiently for this genetic to show up.
