One of the biggest mistakes I made as a business owner?

Thinking I had to do everything myself.

For a long time, I believed asking for help meant I wasn't capable.

What I've learned is that successful businesses aren't built by people who do everything.

They're built by people who know when to ask for help, learn from others, and focus on what they do best.

Let's be honest...

Unpopular opinion:

Posting every day won't fix a bad customer experience.

Marketing can help people find your business.

But great service is what keeps them coming back.

Before you spend more money on marketing, make sure you're answering calls, following up with leads, and creating a great experience for your customers.

Good marketing gets attention.

Good systems build businesses.

Today was one of those days that reminds me why I love being part of the River Region business community.

It was an honor to be able to celebrate Randy Jones and Associates' milestone with their ribbon cutting.

If you didn't know, they have consolidated their offices in Montgomery and Prattville and are now working out of their new location (752 S. Memorial Drive in Prattville).

Every event is an opportunity to make connections, learn something new, and support the people building great things in our community!

I've been the business owner trying to figure everything out. I've worn every hat, worked long hours, and spent more late nights than I can count wondering how to grow.
