🐾 The Great Kibble Crisis of 2026 🐾
Friends… the cats have spoken.
And what they’ve said is: “We are out of Purina. This is unacceptable.”

Our food bins are looking a little too empty for comfort, and with 50+ professional snack enthusiasts roaming the sanctuary, the kibble disappears faster than a cat when you try to give it medicine.

The Big Project Begins — and You’re Here to See It From the Start!

We’ve officially started, and we are full speed ahead. Today is your first sneak peek at the space we’re getting ready to transform. Right now, it sits on the other side of one of our sanctuary walls and isn’t much to look at yet (we know). But just imagine it — an indoor restroom, a dedicated kitten room, a medical space where veterinarians can come directly to us. The potential here is endless.

This is something we’ve dreamed about for a long time, and we know many of you have been waiting right alongside us. We wouldn’t be able to kick this project into high gear without your support. There’s a lot of work ahead, but we’ve done it before, and we’re ready to do it again.

Adoption #17 — Blanche Has Found Her Forever Home!
We’re celebrating adoption number 17, and this one is extra special — our sweet Blanche has officially found her forever family. We couldn’t be happier… unless all the kitties got adopted, of course. Blanche has always been such a gentle, loving girl, and she deserves this just as much as any of them.

She’s already settling in beautifully with her new dog sibling and getting all the spoiling she’s always deserved. Seeing her thrive makes our hearts so full.

🧡 Meet Nutmeg — Our Sanctuary Sweetheart 🧡
Nutmeg is a beautiful orange‑and‑white older kitten who has spent her whole life growing up inside Tailspin. She’s grateful for her safety, her cozy beds, her full belly, and all the love she gets here — but she deserves to know what a real home and family feel like.

Her mama, Truffles, has already found her forever home, and now it’s Nutmeg’s turn. She’s gentle, affectionate, and so ready to bond with someone who will give her the life she’s been waiting for.

🐾 Nap Time at Tailspin Cat Sanctuary 🐾

Blankets, sunbeams, and warm laps are all prime real estate, and the cats are more than happy to share… as long as you’re willing to become a pillow.

🐾💛 Meet Charles — A Tough Little Fighter 💛🐾
Charles came to us after a good Samaritan spotted him outside her window and knew he needed help. When we brought him in, it was clear he’d been struggling for a long time. He was severely underweight, missing large patches of fur, covered in fleas, and dirty from head to tail. His eyes, ears, and overall condition showed every sign of poor nutrition and hardship.

We weren’t sure what his future would look like. But after a couple weeks of gentle care, steady meals, lots of love, and an extensive vet visit, Charles is finally showing signs of improvement. He’s had full bloodwork and is now on a special diet to help him gain weight. Once he’s stronger, he’ll be able to undergo additional vet care that requires anesthesia — something he isn’t healthy enough for yet.

His recovery is slow, delicate, and expensive, but he’s worth every bit of it. If Charles’ story touches your heart, please consider donating to help with his veterinary care — and for others who come to us in similar condition. We’ll keep sharing updates as he continues his transformation. We know big changes are ahead for this sweet boy, and we can’t wait to show you. 🐾💛

🐾😸 Tailspin Needs You — Yes, YOU! 😸🐾
If you’re a brand‑new follower, a long‑time friend, or someone who simply can’t resist being bossed around by a furry little dictator with whiskers, we have the purr‑fect opportunity waiting for you at Tailspin Cat Sanctuary.

We are always in need of new volunteers — people who love spending time with cats, don’t mind scooping a few litter boxes, and enjoy being part of a place where the cats absolutely run the show. The sanctuary is a magical space where they roam freely, rule the roost, and bring joy to everyone who walks through the door. We guarantee you’ll go home feeling satisfied, fulfilled, and maybe even chosen by a cat who decides you’re their new emotional support human.

Our volunteer hours are flexible, the training is easy, and the cats are very excited to welcome you (some politely, others with immediate demands for snacks — it’s part of the charm).

We can hardly believe it — Tailspin’s very first Kitten Adoption Event is TOMORROW, and the babies are more than ready to meet you!
