🧡 Meet Cheddarball — A Gentle Soul Searching for His Sunny Forever Home
Cheddarball is a handsome orange boy with a classic tomcat face and the softest, sweetest heart. He loves human attention and is happiest curled up next to someone on the couch, soaking in love, safety, and the comfort he’s waited far too long to feel.

At the sanctuary, Cheddarball does his best to find quiet corners and warm sunbeams, but with so many other cats around, it’s not always easy for him. He would truly thrive in a calm, quiet home with fewer feline roommates — a place where he can relax, nap in peace, and enjoy gentle affection at his own pace. Every now and then he’s even caught playing with toys, reminding us he still has a playful spark under that mellow exterior. If any cat deserves a warm spot in the sun and a family who cherishes him, it’s Cheddarball.

🐾 Meet George — Your New Best Buddy

George is an approximately one‑year‑old sweetheart who was found as a stray in a parking lot near the Capitol. Despite his rough start, this handsome boy is one of the friendliest, most people‑loving cats you’ll ever meet.

George ADORES his humans. If you’re in the room, he wants to be right there with you — following you around, curling up nearby, or soaking up every bit of affection you’re willing to give. He’s social, playful, and has that charm that makes you feel instantly connected to him. He’s young, affectionate, and so ready to trade parking‑lot survival for a life filled with comfort, safety, and love.

🐾 Courtesy Post: Meet Marilyn & Maggie — Bonded Sisters Seeking a Home Together
We’re sharing these two beautiful girls on behalf of a friend of Tailspin Cat Sanctuary. Marilyn and Maggie are a bonded pair of two‑year‑old sisters looking for a calm, loving forever home where they can stay together.

🌟 Marilyn
Confident, social, and playful — Marilyn is the supermodel of the duo. She has a gorgeous long, curly tail and loves racing after her laser toy. She’s friendly with other cats, dogs, and people, and she proudly struts around with her tail held high.

🌙 Maggie
Maggie is the shy sister with a heart of gold. Once she trusts you, her favorite place to be is perched right on your shoulder or back. She’s independent, sweet, and comes back for affection on her own terms.

🏡 Their Perfect Home
These girls currently live in a very busy home with many other cats, and they’re ready for a quieter space where they don’t have to compete for attention. Their current caregiver believes they’ll blossom into affectionate lap cats in a calm home. If you’re ready to double your love, Marilyn and Maggie are ready to meet you. 🐾 Adoption #8 — Sweet Little Kiki!
Some cats stay with us for months… and some are simply too sweet to stick around.
Kiki, our tiny gray kitten with the softest heart, is officially Adoption #8 — and our very first kitten adoption.

Kiki wasn’t with us long, but she made every moment count. She spent a couple of days in the sanctuary charming volunteers, then continued her recovery and socialization in a loving home. In just a few short weeks she enjoyed endless cuddles, brush sessions, meet‑and‑greets, and even had her surgery and recovery time. And then — just like that — she stole the heart of an incredible adopter. Kiki is now in a safe, loving forever home where she will be cherished beyond measure.

We’re so happy for this little sweetheart and her new family.
Congratulations, Kiki — your forever has officially begun. 🧡🐾

🐾 Darling’s Big, Bright New Beginning

When we first met Darling, she was a small young cat in heartbreaking condition — her eyes were so damaged that she could barely see, and every day was a struggle just to get by. Once she was safely in our care, our vet confirmed what we feared: one of her eyes was beyond saving and needed a full enucleation to give her a pain‑free future. Thanks to quick action, compassionate care, and a whole lot of bravery from this little girl, Darling made it through surgery beautifully. And the best news — her remaining eye is healing wonderfully. She’s feeling better, brighter, and more comfortable than she has in a very long time.

Darling has been recovering in a loving home, soaking up rest and affection. Now she’s ready to rejoin her kitty friends at the sanctuary and meet all the people who will fall in love with her soft, sweet spirit. She may have lost an eye, but she hasn’t lost an ounce of trust or tenderness. Darling is young, gentle, and endlessly kind, and she can’t wait to meet you.

Our vet is incredible and keeps procedures as affordable as possible, but medical care remains our greatest ongoing expense. Every donation helps us say “yes” to cats like Darling — the ones who need us most. We Need YOU!

Ever wondered what it really takes to feed, hydrate, and clean up after 60 cats?
Our Sunday crew of four experts can tell you — because every week, they go far beyond the basics.

They don’t just scoop and sweep. They:
-De‑hair cat trees and furniture
-Sweep and mop floors
-Change bedding
-Clean countertops
-Fold laundry
-And make sure every cat who wants wet food or Churu gets it

One trained person can scoop 25 litter boxes, wash and refill water bowls, and feed dry food to everyone in about 3 hours. Add a second person, and that time is cut in half.

Now imagine having two people in the morning and two at night.
Suddenly, the essentials get done faster — and our experts aren’t the only ones able to tackle the extra tasks we wish we could complete every single day.
