🌈🐾Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day.🐾🌈

Today, Bellalunas Home and Animal Care is sending love, prayers, and gentle thoughts to our team members, families, and clients who are remembering a beloved pet.

The loss of a pet is the loss of family. While they may no longer be by our side, the love, memories, and paw prints they left behind stay with us forever. 💚

Thank you to U-Wash Puppy for reminding us about this important day and giving us a moment to pause and remember.

August 28th is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day although we remember and celebrate them all throughout the year. One of the hardest parts of loving an animal is that they do not live long enough.

Apparently, Loki decided the best way to accessorize the blanket was to try to become part of the design.

🐶Happy National Dog Day!🐶

Today is basically a holiday made for Bellalunas Home and Animal Care.

We're celebrating the dogs who greet us with a full-body wiggle, bring us their favorite toys, demand belly rubs, and somehow convince us that only one more treat is always necessary.

We're lucky enough to spend our days getting to know so many amazing pups and all the personalities that make them special. From the fetch fanatics to the professional snugglers, the neighborhood explorers to the dogs who think every visit should be a belly-rub session. We love them all. 🥰

And to all the dog parents who trust us with their best friends and furbabies: THANK YOU! It means so much to be part of their lives.

The heat is still hanging around, and that means it's extra important to make sure your pets have plenty of fresh, clean water throughout the day.

A few simple reminders:
💧 Keep fresh water available at all times
🌿 Bring water along on walks and outdoor adventures when possible
⏰ Plan walks for cooler parts of the day
🏡 Make sure pets have a cool, comfortable place to rest

And if your pup seems extra thirsty after some summer fun. Give them time to drink up!
