WE ARE HALFWAY TO A MIRACLE! Help us complete NATHAN's journey to his happily-ever-after.

When a kind Samaritan was walking through her neighborhood, a thin, exhausted cat began following her.

He followed her all the way home—and then he stayed.

NATHAN slept on her patio and waited for the meals she began leaving for him. He was emaciated, ear-tipped and already neutered, but it was clear that this gentle senior had been surviving outside on his own for a very long time.

Thankfully, NATHAN will never have to live that way again.

His bloodwork and urinalysis look good, and at approximately 10 years old, he still has so much love—and life—ahead of him.

He is FIV+, incredibly sweet and profoundly grateful for every warm bed, full bowl and kind hand that comes his way.

And now, NATHAN has something even better:
HE HAS AN ADOPTER WAITING TO WELCOME HIM HOME.

But one painful obstacle is standing between NATHAN and his new life.

His mouth is in terrible condition. This is not a routine dental cleaning. NATHAN is suffering from severe, chronically untreated dental disease and needs most, if not all, of his teeth removed.

Our veterinarian estimates that his full-mouth extraction will cost between $2,000 and $2,800.

We can get him into surgery quickly. We just need help paying for it.

NATHAN survived years on the streets. He survived hunger, harsh weather and countless nights without a safe place to sleep. Somehow, through all of that, he remained the gentlest, most affectionate soul.

Now, a loving home is waiting for him. His surgery is the final obstacle standing in his way.

Please help us relieve NATHAN’s pain and send him home to begin the comfortable, cherished second chapter he has waited so long to find.

Every donation and every share brings this sweet senior one step closer to a pain-free happily-ever-after.

NATHAN is currently being fostered in Middletown, Connecticut.
Let’s finish NATHAN's rescue. His forever home is waiting.

CALLING ALL ANGELS! Please share GRACIE and help this sweet, deserving mom find her happily ever after. All of her babies have been adopted. Now it's her turn!

Watch her video: https://youtu.be/kXQ2nB2cNkk?si=iiN3cJ3NBudf-35j

GRACIE got pregnant the first time at 5 months old. And as soon as she was able, she was immediately pregnant again.

GRACIE is barely 2 years old (DOB approximately 08.01.2024), and she's raised two litters of kittens. Of course we have spayed her so she will never get pregnant again, but it's still sad that she lost out on her kitten hood to be a mom.

GRACIE is super sweet, a little bit shy at first, and while tolerates other docile cats, she'd prefer (and will do best) in a quiet home with no other animals.

GRACIE wants a human or humans who will shower her with attention. She thrives on it, and will blossom with a person or family who is around a lot and will love and spoil her.

GRACIE was born approximately 08.01.2024. She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and negative for feline aids (FIV) and leukemia (FeLV).

If you are interested in GRACIE please submit an online application to adopt a cat. She's at our sanctuary in Dayville, CT and she's

waiting.

CONGRATULATIONS REMI - TAKE 2!

Sometimes finding the right home takes more than one try—and that was the case for our perfect, orange boy, REMI.

REMI was originally adopted earlier this summer, but it became clear that his idea of playing with the resident cat was simply too much. Despite being twice REMI’s size, the poor cat was being terrorized by this rambunctious orange menace!

Because we never wanted the resident cat’s wonderful personality to suffer, we asked the adopted to bring REMI back so we could find him a home better suited to his play style.

REMI is wonderful with dogs—he simply plays too rough for other cats. We knew his ideal home would have no cats, but could include a cat-friendly dog, or someone who was home often enough to give him all the attention and companionship he craves.

And then along came Jim and Caryn.

Jim works from home, and they have one extremely cat-friendly dog named Tilly. They were the perfect match for REMI!

Tilly is overjoyed to have REMI join the family, and the two are already finding their groove. Their favorite activity is a game we’ll call “Monster Under the Bed.” REMI hides beneath the bed while Tilly races around the perimeter, poking her head and paws underneath. REMI swats playfully and chases her to the next spot—and back and forth they go! There is no growling, hissing or use of claws—just two silly new friends thoroughly enjoying their game.

REMI is truly the epitome of the typical orange cat: friendly, affectionate, entertaining and just a little bit bonkers. Jim is thrilled to finally have a pet who will be “his,” since Tilly has always gravitated toward Caryn.

Tilly has her new playmate, Jim has his cat, and REMI has finally found the home where he can be his full, fun-loving orange self.
All is well in REMI’s world now, and we couldn’t be happier for all of them!

HAVE THE BEST LIFE EVER REMI!

HELP!!! ~ TEGAN

09/03/2026

SELINA & TEGAN, who just came back to us on Monday because their owner is moving and chose not to take her cats with her, are NOT happy about going to the vet this morning, but we gotta do what we gotta do to get them ready for adoption into their legitimate forever home.

We will get them posted by this weekend.

They are a gorgeous mother-daughter bonded pair. Mama SELINA is a short-haired calico and she is 3 years old. Baby TEGAN is an orange & white long-haired cat who will turn 2 in 2 months.

SELINA is super sweet and outgoing. TEGAN is also sweet, but she is very timid and needs a home that will let her be her and come around in her own terms.

We’re not gonna lie - churu’s help!

The girls are being fostered in New Milford, CT. They are spayed, vaccinated, and negative for FIV/FeLV.

Go to passion4paws.org/adopt to apply.

We don’t want you to think we left MELINDA out of the Churu-fest…we would never do that!

MELINDA gets 2 churus every day because that’s how she takes her medicine. (She recently had a dental with almost a full mouth extraction - only 2 little teefies left) to treat her severe stomatitis, and so she has to have pain meds twice a day until she’s recovered.

The only thing MELINDA loves more than a churu is BEI BEI, so she doesn’t care that he’s trying to steal her treat too.

We haven’t talked much about MELINDA because she’s been hanging in limbo for the last 8 months, but she’s on the road to recovery now and we’ll be posting her soon.

She’s such a sweet, sweet cat.

Help! We need more churu’s!

There is a back story that we will share later in more detail, but yesterday we had two cats, mama SELINA and her daughter TEGAN, returned to us after a year and a half in their adoptive home.

Their owner is moving to CA and decided not to take her cats, so they are back with us in their original foster home.

It’s traumatic for any cat to be relocated, so they are in the cat room with MELINDA and we sent Mayor BEI BEI and FREAKY DEAK in to make them feel comfortable, knowing they have friends.

BEI BEI loves everyone and is an excellent welcoming committee head. FREAKY DEAK loves other cats, but he mostly heard there is unlimited food in the cat room and wanted a snack.

He was not disappointed!

For his bravery (we don’t call him FREAKY DEAK for nothing), we rewarded him (or at least tried to) with a churu…

CALLING ALL ANGELS! Please share and help NATHAN find his true forever home.

A kind Samaritan was walking through her neighborhood when a thin, tired cat began following her.

He followed her all the way home—and then he stayed.

NATHAN slept on her patio. He was emaciated and clearly starving, so she began feeding him. Although he was already neutered and ear-tipped, it was obvious that this gentle old soul had been surviving outside on his own for quite some time.

Thankfully, those days are now behind him.

The veterinarian estimates NATHAN to be approximately 9–10 years old. His bloodwork and urinalysis look good, and he is so happy to be safe indoors with a full belly, a comfortable couch and kind hands to pet him.

NATHAN is FIV+ and incredibly sweet. After everything he has endured, he remains a gentle, affectionate boy who wants nothing more than a soft place to land for the second chapter of his life.

His mouth, unfortunately, is in very poor condition. We are arranging a dental that will most likely require the removal of most—or possibly all—of his teeth. That is the only medical issue standing between NATHAN and a much more comfortable life.

NATHAN can be adopted now, provided his adopter is willing to bring him to his scheduled dental appointment.

This sweet senior has spent enough time sleeping outside and wondering where his next meal would come from. Now he needs someone who will give him the safe, loving home he should have had all along.

If you would like to adopt NATHAN, please submit an application online at passion4paws.org/adopt.

If you would like to help with the cost of his medical care and dental, you can donate directly through this Facebook post or online with a credit card, PayPal, or Venmo at passion4paws.org/donate. You can mail a check to Passion 4 Paws, PO Box 791, Dayville, CT 06241.

Every donation will help give this gentle boy the pain-free second chapter he deserves. He is being fostered in Middletown, CT.
