Passion 4 Paws Non-Profit Animal Rescue Organization (501(c)(3). Passion 4 Paws is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue facility, adoption center, and sanctuary.

Our organization is staffed entirely by volunteers, and our efforts are supported through donations and the generosity of animal lovers from within the community. Our focus is on cat and dog rescue, primarily cats. We have been known to take in the occasional bird, rabbit, turtle, a goose, and even a horse named Mya. Mission Statement

Our Mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, or abused cats and dogs. By working with committed volunteers, veterinarians, and trainers, we nurture, provide medical care, and rehabilitation to these animals while providing a safe and loving "cage-free" environment for as long as it takes to find them adoptive homes.

Carl - who we call crash made a trip to the vet today and get established. He’s doing great. They were impressed how well

He was doing for what he went though. They are going to keep him on his meds. His lungs are clear. His color is good.

He’s so sweet! I tried to get a video of him running but he was camera shy - I’ll work on it.

You wouldn’t believe how great he’s doing.

We are soooo happy for our precious boy CRASH!

Today we are at the Washington Harvest Festival with Maddie, a student at Shepaug Valley School.

Maddie and her family (mom Rachel and sister Ari) adopted Bob & Callie from us in 2013. Shortly thereafter they began fostering. Maddie has basically grown up in our rescue and has demonstrated a strong connection to animals and their welfare.

We are honored that she would choose Passion 4 Paws to support for her school community senior project for Shepaug Valley.

GIBLET & CINEMA were adopted 3 weeks ago. We actually saw them last weekend, so we knew they were doing amazing, but Sean & Jess sent us this video last night and we wanted to share it with you.

GIBLET (left) is now called ELI. CINEMA (right) is now called NOAH.

They met as two tiny orphans, each very sick. We put them together so they could have a friend, and together they healed, becoming a bonded pair. They are brothers in every sense of the word and it brings us immense joy to see them so happy in their new home, knowing they will always be together.

TGIF from P4P alums BOB & CALLIE. They love their kennel when they aren’t going to the vet!

They were adopted 13 years ago in August and they are still a tightly bonded pair.

We see them regularly because they and their family - Rachel, Ari, & Maddie foster for us.

PLEASE SHARE MONICA! She has come sooo far and now she's ready for her forever home.

MONICA (DOB approximately 04/05/2026) is a playful kitten who enjoys the company of other cats.

She can be timid and a little reserved when meeting new people, so she may not be the cuddly, outgoing kitten who climbs into your lap on day one - and that’s okay!

MONICA has really blossomed in her foster home. She follows her foster family around the house and loves to play with them and the other cats in the house!

She’s just a baby. With patience, understanding, and another friendly feline companion, MONICA will blossom into an amazing companion.

MONICA is spayed, vaccinated, and negative for feline aids (FIV) and leukemia (FeLV).
