Bath and tidy up for "Capri" 🩷 the curliest most ornery cocapoo pup there is, 🤣 we're letting her hair grow back from her matted shave down last month, she still said "absolutely not!" to the clippers on her face or feet today🫣 but we're slowly making progress.

I've heard the phrase by people " I wish I was a dog groomer so I could play with all the puppies all day " so many times in my career, and it used to make me so frustrated now I just laugh because If they only knew what it took to groom puppies they would never say that again. There isn't much playing with puppies during the groom unfortunately. Most of the appointments are surrounded by an immense amount of patience, distracting the pup at times , managing fear, desensitizing the dog to the tools, making sure they don't get hurt, making sure we don't get hurt, and getting done the bare minimum to make the dog comfortable and clean. With that being said enjoy this grooming pov of " Mingo" the very spicy Yorkie pup🩵🐾 also the muzzle at a point is for his protection so he doesn't lick my tools and cut his mouth/tounge
