Are you looking for a homebody pup to keep you and your dog company while we binge watch our favorite show? I'm just the guy for you! I'm Pippin, the perfect stay-at-home kind of dog who's looking for a home with a confident canine to show me the ropes. I'm only 41 pounds, the perfect size to be your lap dog. I'm looking for an introvert-at-heart who loves movie nights and cuddling on the couch in a puppy pile. If you have a comfy couch, another dog, and are looking to grow your four-legged family, come to SICSA to meet me for yourself!

Meet Elizabeth (5 yrs) and Sweetie (11 yrs) from Robyn's Nest Rescue! They are a very sweet and loving bonded pair. They are both social, sweet, and playful. Elizabeth loves snacks and hanging out with dogs of all sizes. Sweetie is a napping lap cat by day and a playful kittie in the evening.

They are currently living at Robyn’s Nest waiting on a foster or adoptive home. You can stop in any time to meet them! To adopt or foster, please complete an application at www.robynsnestrescue.com.

Wednesday Wags is a collaboration of Dayton shelters and rescues to get more dogs and cats adopted. Please like and share the posts to help us find homes for these local pets!

🏆Calendar Contest Update - Less than 2 weeks to go!🏆
We're in the final leg of the contest, and things are getting heated! Bleu and her perfect smoulder came out of nowhere to land in the top spot! 🙀And we officially broke our fundraising goal...again! So, is staff cat Purrcy content now? NEVER! He very politely* asked us to raise the goal again. He thinks we can make it to $15k in the last biiiggg stretch! Thank you to everyone who's voted, entered, reserved a day, and pre-ordered already. You've already helped make this contest a huge success, and we can't wait to see the final results!

* "very politely" 🥲

Please join us in thanking Subaru Of Dayton for their support during October's initiative, in partnership with ASPCA and Subaru of America, Inc. In addition to nominating us for a grant, Subaru of Dayton is helping raise funds and awareness for SICSA's Pet Food Assistance program, which distributes more than 100,000 pounds of pet food to cats and dogs in need each year. On behalf of our community's pets and the people who love them, thank you for supporting our mission!

A look inside TNR day, sped up.

Last year we set the bar at 250. On Friday, our team, volunteers and vet partners raised it again, helping 282 cats in one day. Every one of these cats went home healthier and won’t add to the cycle of homeless litters.

This doesn’t happen without our incredible veterinary team and staff, and our partners at Spay Slayers - ARUBA Outreach, College of Veterinary Medicine and Sinclair College . Huge thanks, too, to , The Wyse Family Foundation and Boehringer Ingelheim for making the day possible.

Thank you, Dayton!
