Serenity Valley Farm: Equine Education and Training Center

Serenity Valley Farm: Equine Education and Training Center Located just west of Dayton, Ohio, SVF is a new equestrian education facility.

SVF's goal is to become a top notch Equestrian Education facility with plans to host a variety of schooling shows and clinics throughout the year, as well as be able to offer a training facility for both a limited number of boarders as well as haul in clientele. While our passions run towards the english disciplines of dressage and eventing, we hope equestrians of all disciplines can find the educational opportunities they need at SVF in the future.

Details for Saturday's Hunter Show:

1) starting at 8:30 due to recent and possible expected heat. Parking gates will be open by 7. JACKETS ARE WAIVED!! You must wear a helmet, boots, a shirt with sleeves and a collar (and of course some kind of pants... please! 😜)

2) this is a smaller show but please be on time to the ring. The estimated time schedule is before but keep in mind this is ESTIMATED! Other than the start time (8:30), it is the rider responsibility to be at the ring when their class is called.

3) Because it is a smaller show, we are accepting day-of entries. Please don't forget your coggins!

4) No dogs please. Genuine service dogs are always welcome, but please let us know if they will be attending so we can make arrangements for Ripley.

5) Another "because it is a smaller show" we will have limited concessions (I think Anita was talking cookies, chips, and drinks).

6) Remember ALL parking is in the field (gates are right off Union Road) unless a show worker, SVF boarder, or disabled.

7) The wash rack WILL be open for use. The hydrant can be a little sticky... please be sure and turn it off when you are finished (and clean up after your horse).

8) Because of the smaller classes, we're going to run every level the same:
Warm Up for all
hunter under saddle
EQ flat class
course #1 for all
course #2 for all

For example...
7 - warm up
8 - crossrail hunter under saddle
11 - crossrail equitation flat
9/12 - over fences
10/13 - over fences

If you are in both the hunter and equitation divisions within the same level and want to ride your over fences classes back to back, just work with the in-gate to make sure they let the judge know.

Estimated Time Schedule:
Ground Poles - 8:30
Crossrails - 9:25
Leadline - 10:20
Green - 10:45
Beginner - 11:50

Beginner Handy & Jumper rides will be intermixed with the Beginner level jumping rounds. Please work with the in gate.

Maps will be posted later (probably tomorrow).

As always... any questions, just ask!

Just a reminder, all pre-registration entries for the June 13 hunter show at SVF are due (class list and fees at a minimum) by end of day on Saturday!! That's under 72 hours to get your entries in and save $5 per class! Best guess at this point is we are looking at a smaller show and thus will be taking day of entries (but they'll cost $20 per judged class (excluding the medal class)).

Kiwi is watching for your entries... and waiting (though not really patiently). 😝
