🥳 Pupdate: within 6 hours of being found alone, lost, and hungry this lucky dog has a home, has been bathed and fed and fell asleep on his new human's lap. How awesome is that!

This sweet, emaciated pup was waiting outside one of my client's workplaces this morning. The local rescues have been contacted, some only had voicemail options, to get him reunited with his owner or get him to a rescue. Sweet Abner was one of my kitty clients for years. His momma went to live in an assisted living home and couldn't take him with her. They loved a wonderful quiet life. The daughter, also a client of mine, couldn't take him in because he wouldn't be compatible with her cat. She maintained his home for several months while trying to re-home him but now he has gone to live at SICSA. We don't want this sweet boy to wait for too long for his new forever home. Please consider adopting Abner or share this post.

One of my clients has recently moved to an assisted living facility and her kitty, Abner, needs a new furrever home. He is a very sweet boy who has only known his one human and has always been an only child. For this reason he should go to a quiet-ish home with no other pets. He is a very healthy, middle aged boy who loves to be loved on and brushed and is a bit of a nip-feind 😊.

Availability changes beginning January 2, 2023...

Due to family and health obligations I am changing my availability. Beginning January 2, 2023 I will no longer be available for 2 visits per day. I am no longer doing morning/midday visits. I am available for pet-sits from 5pm though 7:30 pm. I know this may not fit in with your needs and I understand if you need to make other arrangements. Thank you for understanding.

Reward your pet with Chew Cubes, a 3-ingredient treat that will surely make them chew with joy! 🐶 Just follow this simple recipe:

Ingredients:
1 cup 100% pumpkin or coconut flour
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 medium sweet potato, baked, peeled and mashed

Procedure:
1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Spread into a greased 8-inch baking dish.
3. Bake at 275 degrees F for an hour, until it has a chewy consistency.
4. Let cool and cut into bite-sized pieces.
