🐾🎾 FOSTER FUN FACT:
Did you know Twiggy doesn't need a human to play fetch? She's got that covered ALL BY HERSELF! 😂

This 11-month-old Labradoodle has a hilarious little habit of playing tennis ball games with herself! She'll toss the ball into the air, bat it around, chase after it, and make it squeak. Then she'll do it all over again!

Twiggy gets along well with other dogs, but who needs a playmate when you're this easily entertained? 🎾🤣

I'm beautiful, I know it, and I have the personality to match. My hobbies include throwing toys, tossing cups, and redecorating my space. Touch my belongings without permission? We might have words. 💅

I can be dramatic sometimes and growl, stomp, or act like I'm about to charge, but don't be fooled! It's a bluff. Underneath all that sass, I'm a sweet, curious girl who's actually very easy to hold and pet!

💕 MY IDEAL MATCH:
I'm looking for an experienced rabbit person who appreciates my drama! Older, respectful kids could be a good fit, but I'd prefer a home without, or completely separate from dogs and cats.

I have an easily manageable metabolic condition that requires a good, low-calcium diet and plenty of exercise. A large rabbit-proof space or my very own room to roam would be a dream!

A hurricane may have changed their path, but Chopper and Nibblet are getting a chance at a fresh start!

These two dogs were displaced by the hurricane that hit the South this past weekend, and the Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be part of the effort to help them and other animals affected by the storm.

Working alongside Best Friends Animal Society , SICSA Pet Adoption and Wellness Center and other animal welfare partners, we welcomed Chopper and Nibblet into our care to help ease the strain on shelters responding to the crisis. We are able to provide Chopper and Nibblet the individualized care, comfort and attention they deserve.

The good news? Both pups are doing wonderful and adjusting well to their new surroundings! We look forward to helping them prepare for adoption and finding the loving forever homes they deserve. They should be available soon, so keep an eye out for updates!

When animals are displaced by disaster, collaboration makes an incredible difference. By working together and stepping up when additional help is needed, animal welfare organizations can reach more pets, support one another and give more animals a path toward a brighter future.
