Courtesy update for anyone that has purchased from us on eBay in the past. As of recent, eBay has made changes to their live animal policy which effectively prohibits the sale of isopods.
Despite the fact there is always numerous isopod sellers on the platform they recently targeted the bulk of our listings and canceled them citing their selectively enforced policy.
We’ve enjoyed operating on the platform the last 2 plus years and connecting with numerous other invert enthusiast. Building meaningful relationships and helping others on eBay has been a privilege.
Thankfully, in terms of e-commerce I learned years ago to never put all your eggs in one basket. Especially with commercial platforms that can literally shut you down at any given moment at their own discretion.
As such, going forward all of our outstanding isopods will be on our own website isopodfactory.com. We’ll still keep our dry goods and other isopod related supplies on eBay but that will be it. Slowly dabbling with Palmstreet, so that may be another avenue soon.
Many thanks to our numerous eBay customers who have supported us in this amazing hobby. We’re unfortunately shut out of eBay, but our website will always be open 😊
