We live in a cozy home in Dayton, Ohio, with our two amazing kids and our dog. We've been working as a team for over six years (we've been married for over eight!), and we have photographed hundreds of weddings together, not to mention countless engagement sessions. We're passionate about creating jaw dropping images, but not at the expense of being real. People often describe our photos as "natur

al" and "authentic," and that couldn't be more of a compliment. Over the years we've learned how to read our couples, to communicate our vision, and to encourage real, emotional connections in front of the camera. We are available for travel throughout the state of Ohio and nationwide. Our passports are always valid, and we love to travel.

The Brook is an old church camp turned wedding venue, and while the space has seen some incredible upgrades, the heart of worship and togetherness still remains. 🤍 There couldn’t have been a better backdrop for Amber + Levi’s fall wedding—a day centered on God, overflowing with joy, and surrounded by the people they love most. A few weeks before her wedding, Heather called us to let us know that her dad was sick. I grabbed my notepad and started scratching down notes, trying to absorb what she was saying. Most of it was logistics… which parts he might be there for, which locations might be a challenge, etc. But of course, under it all was a little girl who loves her daddy and she knew how much it would mean to each of them that he would get to be there on her wedding day.

To our surprise and delight, he ended up feeling really great on the wedding day, and from an outsider’s perspective, you may not have been able to tell. But their interactions became one of our focal points, knowing that the depth behind these photos is going to be meaningful today, tomorrow, and probably even more in the years to come.

We pray that her dad is restored to full health, and Heather has many decades left to cherish time with her father, and we hope that these photos are as significant to her as they were for us to capture.
