Don't forget! Dog Microchipping at Furry Skurry is this Saturday!

🚨 Furry Skurry is THIS SATURDAY from 8am–12pm! 🚨
Stop by the HSGD Pet Care Booth during the event to get your dog microchipped! 🐶

Microchipping is one of the best ways to help ensure your pet can be identified and returned to you if they ever become lost. During the event, our team can:
✔️ Scan your dog for an existing microchip
✔️ Microchip your dog
✔️ Show you how to register or update information on your dog's microchip

We are asking for a small donation for each microchip, which can be made with cash or by scanning a QR code at the pet care booth. Every donation helps support the animals in our care and the lifesaving work of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. ❤️

Please note: this microchipping opportunity is for dogs only. Since Furry Skurry has many dogs attending in a large open area, we want to help ensure the safety and comfort of all pets.

Thank you to Sgt. Cairns and the Dayton Police & Fire crew who helped bring this sweet girl to us. Many of you have been asking for updates, and we are grateful for the care and concern being shown for her.

She is currently under the care of our veterinary team. She is receiving pain medication and treatment for her wounds, and we are closely monitoring her condition. While she is stable, she does have some internal injuries that are concerning, so she is not out of the woods yet.

Our team will continue carefully assessing her injuries and providing the care she needs while we work toward the best possible outcome for her. We hope she can make a full recovery.

We will share more updates as soon as we have additional information. Thank you again for the support you are showing this sweet girl and the team working hard to help her. 💙🐾

🧸 Teddy Bear Clinic is happening now! 🩺

Our vet, Dr. Staab, is at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery today until 2 p.m. giving stuffed animals gentle check-ups and helping kids learn what a real veterinary visit looks like.

Bring your child and their favorite stuffed animal to join the fun. The event is included with general museum admission.
