A few weeks ago I went on a family trip to The Wilds. I love seeing the animals in large enclosures with an abundance of turn out to be themselves and interact with the nature they have been placed. I appreciate the work they are doing here and definitely recommend! They also have horseback riding 😉!

Wandering S Equine is amazing! Check her out! So excited to ride and show my boy! The goal this year was to have fun and be on the back of a horse as much as I am underneath them trimming . Lol! 🤍

Can we please turn the ego down and listen. Even though you may be hearing the same thing over (or something you feel you already know) … it’s possible you’ll catch a sliver of detail that completes the foundation.

A good example of this was when I was working with a trainer years ago. She wanted to show me how to halter a horse.. even though I’ve been doing it for years… I turned off my insulted feelings and listened.

I’m glad I did. In that haltering lesson… I learned to pay attention to the smallest of facial expressions, body shifts, breathing patterns, my body position, the halter mechanics itself .. etc.

So stop and listen.. The worst case.. you hear what you already know. The best case… you grow. 🤍🖤🤍
