💔 Goodbye, Butters. 🐾
Today, Jeremy had to say goodbye to his sweet boy, Butters. And somehow, my heart is broken too.
For so many years, Butters lived in an apartment, and then he finally got the backyard he always deserved. He got to spend his final days enjoying that space, being loved, and just being a happy dog. ❤️
Butters wasn’t technically my dog, but he became such a huge part of my life. I got to groom him, clean up after him, take care of him, argue with him over his manicures and pedicures 😂, and yes… scoop an embarrassing amount of p**p.
And somehow, during a time when I was grieving the loss of my dad and adjusting to life with a newborn, this goofy boy helped save me in ways I probably won’t ever fully understand.
Sometimes the animals we don’t technically call ours leave the biggest paw prints on our hearts.
I’m going to miss you so much, Butters. Thank you for the laughs, the chaos, the cuddles, and for being there during some of the hardest days of my life.
Run free, sweet boy. You were so loved. 🌈🐾💔
