Meet our special patient, Tater! 🐾✨

Tater is a 4.5-month-old male Mudi who came in for his checkup and vaccinations—and he already has quite the story to tell! He made the long journey all the way from Hungary and handled the trip like an absolute champ ✈️!

The Mudi is a rare and remarkable Hungarian herding breed known for its intelligence, agility, and versatility. Tater comes from an impressive lineage—his parents are accomplished herding dogs back in Hungary, and the breed also excels in agility and search-and-rescue work 🐕.

With such a strong start and a dedicated owner who plans to introduce him to a variety of activities, we can’t wait to watch Tater grow and thrive. We’re so honored and grateful to be part of his journey! ❤️

🐾 Puppy Visit Spotlight: Meet Finn! 🐾

We had the pleasure of meeting Finn, a 9-week-old Golden Retriever, during his very first puppy visit at Acorn Veterinary Clinic!

Finn is already a big, fluffy boy with the sweetest, easygoing personality. He did an amazing job for his exam and handled everything like a champ. 💛

We’re also so happy that Finn has such a wonderful and caring owner who is dedicated to giving him the best start in life. Early puppy visits are an important step in helping puppies grow into healthy, happy dogs, and we are honored to be part of Finn’s journey.

We can’t wait to watch this handsome boy grow up!

🐾 Help Find a Loving Home for Kush 🐾

Kush is a 5-year-old indoor cat with the sweetest, most affectionate personality. Our client Adrianna is searching for a long-term, experienced home for him — ideally someone familiar with medically managed pets.

He is medically stable and has received excellent care through UC Davis Veterinary Hospital and Acorn Veterinary Clinic. He is microchipped, fully vaccinated, and very loved.

Kush’s care routine includes:

-Monthly B12 injections

-Daily folic acid

-Strict venison-based diet

-Monthly Revolution

🏡 Best fit: Someone home often, in or near Davis/Woodland. Open to veterinary professionals slightly outside the area.

🧺 Kush will come with all supplies, medications, and full vet records. . Staying in touch with his adopter would be wonderful.

🐾 Please meet our newest (and cutest!) patient, Carson! 🐾

Carson is a 11-week-old male Cocker Spaniel who came in today for his very first puppy visit. He received his vaccine and dewormer and did such a great job!

He is an incredibly sweet, easy-going, and adorable puppy who made all of us smile the moment he arrived. 💛🐶

We are so grateful for the opportunity to care for young puppies like Carson and to be part of their journey as they grow.
