Congratulations to all the 2024 Azawakh National Specialty winners, especially GCHS Starfire's Kamikaze of Orisha, who repeated his 2023 BISS win. Congrats to his breeders Tony Cabrera and Fabian Arriente and owners Essie and Jordan Yates. 🎖🙌🌠

I’m sad that we missed this year’s event, especially since I was looking forward to showing under breed expert David Miller. However, if I had to skip a National, I have no regrets about staying home if the reason is to care for my 8 ten-week-old puppies.

I look forward to attending next year with Silver, who turns 6 months old 2 November. Aslaam Nasirudin is excited to attend as well to show Travis, his puppy from Ksenia. We are so happy to get these youngsters out for everyone to see.

Rescue Alert!!! These 3 Azawakh/Saluki mix puppies were brought into a shelter in Tallahassee, FL last night. It seems the person who owned the Saluki has passed away and his partner who has the Azawakh wasn't in a position to keep them. Saluki rescue is assisting with this since there is no official Azawakh rescue. There are 2 boys and 1 girl. They are 12 weeks old and have already been spayed/neutered. Please share this, and let's try to help.
