Casteel (JC Kevin Mac) is a 2022 OTTB gelding looking for his next career. Sound with clean legs and no known issues or past injuries. He is young and doesn't have a ton of off track rides so an experienced trainer or advanced rider with trainer will be ideal for him to ensure he gets the guidance he needs! He has more woah than go but I think that is due to lack of confidence and fitness over laziness. He's been out on trails a few times alone and with others. His worst habit is stopping and not wanting to go further but he's getting there! Typical track thoroughbred hooves and will require shoes and correct farrier work. Would benefit from groundwork and consistency as he can be quite pushy and doesn't understand boundaries. Most days he is quite level headed and willing, other days he needs more patience and motivation. message for more information/interest and I can get you into contact with his owner!
