BOO! It's Trunk or Treat day, and yes, there will be KITTENS! 🎃

Come see us TONIGHT, October 23, from 6–8 PM at Main Street Veterinary Hospital, 20310 N Main Street, for Main Street's second Trunk or Treat.

Decorated trunks, treats, cotton candy, a bounce house, an obstacle course, and adoptable kittens—all in one evening. Come for the Halloween fun, meet some little faces who need homes, and see whether somebody steals your heart along with your attention.

Bring the family, bring a friend, and please share this so nobody has to say tomorrow, “Wait, there were kittens?!” We tried to tell you. 😂

Meet Peter and Ned! These little brothers are just over two months old, and BOTH are waiting for someone to choose them. 🖤

Peter is the short-haired brother; Ned brings the fluff. Ned's foster record says he's good with cats, dogs, and children, which is a pretty nice introduction for such a little guy.

If you've been thinking about adding a kitten to your family, we'd love to help you get to know Peter or Ned. Thinking about two? Tell us! We're always happy to talk through whether a pair would be a good fit for your home.

Mario is nine months old, and we'd like to put in a word for the slightly bigger kittens. They still need someone to pick THEM, too. ❤️

This handsome white-and-tabby boy is neutered, litter trained, and listed as good with children. He's waiting in foster care for a family of his own, and we'd love to make an introduction.

Whatcha doin' Friday night? Because we have a suggestion, and it involves candy AND kittens. 🎃

Come join us at our partner vet, Main Street Veterinary Hospital, for Main Street's second Trunk or Treat this Friday, October 23, from 6–8 PM at 20310 N Main Street!

There will be decorated trunks, treats, an obstacle course, a bounce house, cotton candy, and a kitten adoption event. The kids can work on their candy collection while you consider whether your family is missing someone small and furry. A perfectly reasonable Friday night activity, if you ask us.

Nova and his sister Lyra are both looking for homes. Two tiny black kittens, two very good reasons to stop scrolling and think about who might be missing from your family.

Lotus would like a home with room for cuddles AND a little rough-and-tumble play. She's three months old. She has a schedule to keep. 🤍

This beautiful white kitten came to us after the dog in her previous home couldn't safely share the space with her. Now we're looking for a family where she can relax, play, and be loved without worrying about what's coming around the corner.

Andromeda has opinions, and she would appreciate it if everyone would LISTEN. 😂 This little black kitten has a raspy, old-lady meow and absolutely no intention of keeping her thoughts to herself.

Her brother Orion takes a little longer to introduce himself. He's shy at first, but give him time to feel safe and you'll meet the sweet, cuddly boy underneath. Playing with Andromeda helps him find his courage, which is a pretty good argument for keeping a talkative sister around.

Both are about 3½ months old and looking for homes. If you've been thinking about adopting, we'd love to tell you more about these two. And if your household could use both a commentator and a quieter companion, let's talk about that, too. 🖤

This is getting ridiculous. Kitten season is supposed to be OVER - or at least slowing down. We have had more bottle babies in the last week than we did at the beginning of the year. With that being said -

Meet Tiny Tinsel, our newest bottle baby! Except he's not even big enough for a bottle yet.

Tinsel is just TWO DAYS OLD, and he's so tiny that we're feeding him with a syringe because he isn't quite strong enough to latch onto a bottle. He is eating every two hours, around the clock. Yes, that includes 2 a.m.! Who needs sleep (raises hand - me. That would be ME. I need sleep.)

In the meantime, Tiny Tinsel has some growing to do, and our foster has another feeding to give.

P.S. Did you know we will have in Itty Bitty Kitty Nursery at Cat About Town? You'll be able to observe bottle babies in person next year! Cat About Town
