Got towels? The Parlor is accepting donations. If you've got a stack laying around that you were planning on donating, send 'em my way! Please feel free to drop off any time I'm open.
Thank you!

Shared with the permission (and insistance) from Curtis's owners.

Curtis has struggled with separation anxiety for a while, which is why his parents got Gertie for him. Since getting Gertie, he has also been diagnosed with dementia (yes, dogs can get it too) which has made grooming a challenge.

So, his parents decided that they would try to bring Gertie to his grooming appointment to help soothe him.......it worked like a charm!! Haha! Whenever he would start to get worked up, I would just slide Gertie closer to him and it helped calm him down. Unconventional? Yes. But I'll try anything to keep a dog calm while they're being groomed 😂

The things we do for the pets we love ❤️

Today, as we honor the selfless, and brave, hero men and women who put their lives on the line, remember the hero dogs too.
