Darien Animal Hospital is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated team member to join our growing small-animal practice in beautiful coastal Georgia. We are currently hiring for a **Veterinary Assistant and/or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) and/or Receptionist**—we’re open to the right person with the right attitude!

**Position Overview:**
Depending on experience and qualifications, responsibilities may include:
**Veterinary Assistant / Technician Duties:**
* Assisting veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures
* Handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately
* Administering medications and vaccines (CVTs)
* Laboratory work and diagnostic imaging
* Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
* Answering phones and assisting clients as needed
* Maintaining a clean and organized treatment area
**Receptionist Duties:**
* Greeting clients and patients with a warm, welcoming attitude
* Scheduling appointments and managing phone calls
* Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
* Communicating clearly with both clients and medical staff
* Handling and assisting with animals safely as needed
* Maintaining a clean front desk, lobby, and exam rooms
* Keeping the front desk, lobby, and exam rooms organized and presentable
**Qualifications:**
* Experience in a veterinary setting preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
* CVT license (for technician applicants)
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to safely lift and assist animal patients of varying sizes
* Positive attitude and team-player mindset
* Genuine compassion for animals and their owners
