Delayed in getting it posted, but HAPPY JUNE! 😎🌞

This month is National Pet Preparedness Month. Take time this month to work on your plan for how to handle a disaster with your pet. Things to include in your plan:

+ Have an plan for your pet. Where will you go if a disaster strikes?
+ Develop a buddy system. Talk with neighbors, friends or relatives to make sure that someone is available to care for or evacuate your pets if you can't do so. And make sure they know who normally helps with pet care, like your vet and your favorite boarding facility. 😉
+ Have your pet microchipped. Make sure to keep your address and phone number up-to-date and know where the microchipping info is. This is also National Microchipping Month, so don't delay in getting that info together! 📱

Dogs at the American Red Cross are real superheroes 🐾

So this month we wanted to organize a nationwide dog walk challenge.

Your dog is invited to our Walk 30 Miles in 30 Days challenge. Get their bandana and their personal trainer certificate by raising funds. Because disasters don’t take a break, so neither do we!
