FOUND, INJURED, URGENT: Kanawha/Boone County line.
Update: she has crossed the rainbow bridge 🥺💔 while we will grieve her, at least she is no longer in pain.
If the owner does eventually find this - we are so sorry for your loss. She was with gentle, caring hands during her brief time with us, and we tried to ensure her comfort as much as possible ❤️🩹

FOUND, INJURED, URGENT: Kanawha/Boone County line.
This poor girl arrived to us after being hit by a car 💔 She is not in good shape.
She has:
- a broken front leg (hidden in the pic to avoid upsetting anyone)
- another leg has a gaping wound
- a few other minor scrapes and wounds
- unable to urinate on her own (our team has been assisting her to do our best keeping her comfortable)
- poor liver values on her bloodwork 🥺
I know this is a tough topic that we post, and I know some folks don't agree with us trying to find owners in these situations.
Trust me, I know it's hard 😔 Our team's hearts get crushed with every animal who comes in suffering 💔
But looking at her beyond her injuries - she was clean, nails trimmed, healthy weight. She seems to have been someone's baby 🥺 her poor outlook is due to the injuries from the car, not from lack of love.
Please, help us find her family.
If this is your baby, I'm begging you to come to KCHA as soon as you can. We are not here to make you feel guilty, we won't belittle you for a tragic accident happening.
We are humans too, we understand heartache and grief all too well 💔
Our goal is to give her comfort. And no one can do that better than the people she knows and loves 🥺
