“Every expert was once a beginner.”

Riding with GRIT is so stoked for the newest opportunity of growth, a junior internship program designed to give the next generation the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

Indiana Graduation Pathways recognizes internships as a valuable work-based learning experience that helps students develop employability skills while exploring future careers. This junior internship opportunity allows students to gain hands-on experience, build professional skills, and work toward graduation pathway requirements while making meaningful industry connections.

4 individuals have been selected to work along a professional to learn things such as:
- lesson planning/debriefing
- time management
- budgeting and paying facility fees
- foundational teaching skills (i.e. communication, flexibility, multitasking, forward thinking)
- professionalism

What we need are two English style riders and 2 Western style riders willing to be apart of this 6-week trial program for a discounted cost of $30 per lesson taking one lesson a week.

Today Max, Piper, and I went to get a GRIT rider from a sleep over and rode back to the farm. Knowing they put in the work to be able to safely ride the roads made this summer memory one that won’t be forgotten. 💕
