My goal as an instructor is to teach my students to become safe and effective with horses.

When presented with an opportunity to dive into a challenge, I almost always coach my student through instead of avoid.

This approach has cultivated confidence in both horse and rider and prepares them for things bigger than riding in an arena with controlled variables. Additionally, it challenges my students to put themselves into the perspective of the horse and allows them to practice leadership!
