It’s always a good week when you have five lovely Golden Girls keeping you busy 😍

Pictured are Rosie, River, (also) Rosie, Nellie, & Frankie! All five Golden Retrievers are working with us to progress various important life skills:

Recalls
Stays
Leave-it
Leash manners
Greeting people without jumping
Being polite around other dogs
Going to her bed instead of rushing guests at the door

We got to ring in the start of this week with sweet Pawla’s first session!

This adorable young gal is well on her way to getting her CGC and becoming a therapy dog. She is full of spirit and s***k 😍

Louie the Bernedoodle pup was looking mighty festive and fresh during our session this week 😍

Below are some helpful reminders for how to help keep your dog safe and happy while the humans celebrate America’s Birthday

♥️ Don’t forget to get your dog his/her outdoor exercise wrapped up early today, before fireworks & celebrations begin!
🤍 Make those frozen Kongs, Pupsicles, dig out the stash of beef cheeks, bully sticks, & other goodies now so that Fido has plenty of decadent treats to indulge in while celebrations ensue tonight!
💙 Please keep in mind that your dog does not need to be involved in the celebrations, & is safer at home in a secure place away from all of the commotion. I’d put on some tunes or TV for them to help drown out any extra sound while they get their own space to enjoy some treats!
🎆 Be extra thoughtful when doing your evening potty breaks tonight, & make sure your dog can’t escape your leash/yard in case they get spooked by a sudden boom! Make sure they have a secure collar with identification & their tracking device is charged if you have one!
