TCAP Community Cat Fix
Texas Coalition for Animal Protection
Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 8 AM – 4 PM
Locations: TCAP Arlington, Denton, Garland, Hurst, Joshua
Duration: 8 hr
Each location will serve 75 cats in hard sided carriers or live traps. All cats will receive an ear tip. Surgery, surgery fees, and the rabies vaccine are all free. Each person in line will also receive a BOGO coupon. If you’re outside the first 75, please stay in line until the clinic opens at 8 AM for more information.

SHELA MONSTER UPDATE 💕🐾
Remember this tiny girl? I rescued Shela on October 28th from the streets of Oak Cliff. She was so small, so sweet… I called her my little munchkin, my muffin.
Well, that was then. 😂
Almost 4 months later, Shela has officially earned a new nickname: SHELA MONSTER. This girl plays with SIX of my cats and wears every single one of them out!
The only time I can get photos of her looking this peaceful is when she’s completely exhausted. Notice how she sleeps? Completely sprawled out, belly up, zero cares. That’s what happens when you’ve spent hours terrorizing everyone. 😅
Shela was supposed to be a foster. But somewhere between the cuddles and the chaos, she stole my heart completely.
Foster fail? Absolutely. Regrets? Not a single one. 💚
Welcome to the family forever, Shela Monster. 🐱💤

If you can’t provide an outdoor cat shelter for your community cats, consider opening your garage like we did for Mr. Timothée! Even a warm, dry space can be life-saving during severe weather.

MILO HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME! 💙😭
Of all my rescues, Milo holds such a special place in my heart. His story:
A neighbor asked for help - there was an injured cat in her yard who couldn’t walk on his front right leg. I went down, scooped him up, and brought him home. My vet said it was a muscle sprain (thank goodness!) and he just needed rest and TLC.
For six weeks, Milo and I spent every single night cuddling on the couch watching movies together. This boy is SPECIAL - he gives head bumps, kisses, and has this adorable habit of licking the tip of your nose to say thank you 🥹
He’s funny, playful, and the sweetest little cuddler you’ll ever meet.
Three weeks ago, this sweet family came to meet him - mom brought ALL FIVE of her kids! 🥰 They are 100% cat people, and you could tell immediately because all EIGHT cats in my house came out to play with them. When cats approve, you KNOW it’s the right fit!
They patiently waited for Milo to finish his neuter recovery and medications before taking him home. Yesterday, they finally got to bring him home forever 💕
Milo got neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and most importantly… he got six weeks of love and healing. Now he’s ready for his happily ever after with a family who absolutely adores him 🏡✨
I’m going to miss those movie nights, buddy. But I’m so happy for you! 💙

TEDDY HAS FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME! 🎉💕
Yesterday, Teddy met his new family and it was love at first sight! They hit it off right away, and watching them together was so heartwarming 🥰
After being abandoned 5 months ago, Teddy is finally where he belongs - inside, loved, cuddled, and cherished. His new family is already sending me updates about how well he’s doing and how quickly he’s settling in!
I’m going to miss this sweet boy SO much, but knowing he’s safe, happy, and getting all the love he deserves makes my heart so full 💛
Thank you to everyone who shared his post and helped spread the word! This is why rescue work matters. Every cat deserves a second chance at happiness 🐾

After hours of chaos, climbing, wrestling, and racing around the house… they crashed HARD on the heated throw blanket. This is what peace looks like 🥰
Tiny Tiger (our gorgeous Bengal boy in front) and Shela found the coziest, warmest spot in the house and they’re NOT moving! 💤

What I woke up to this morning 😭💕
These kids must’ve played HARD last night! Look at this adorable pile of exhausted babies 🥰
Sheila is already 12 weeks old - I can’t believe how fast time is flying! She was just a tiny baby and now she’s getting so big. I wish I could’ve had more time with her when she was smaller, but watching her grow into this confident, playful girl has been such a gift 💛

This handsome 2-year-old boy was abandoned in my neighborhood about 5 months ago. I’ve searched extensively for his original family with no luck - he deserves so much better. He was clearly someone’s beloved indoor cat before - he knew exactly how to use a litter box from day one.

✅ Ready for his forever home!

Shela at 14 weeks has finally discovered solo play!

She's been obsessed with including every cat in the house in her games. But today? She found the Tower of Tracks and played BY HERSELF for 20 minutes. 🙌

This toy is a game-changer. Keeps her entertained, builds her confidence, and gives the other cats a break. 😂
