We had such a wonderful time with the Golden Retriever Club of Dallas!

Dr. Adamson gave an engaging presentation on what an internal medicine specialist does, sharing helpful insight into how advanced diagnostics and specialized care can make a difference in pets' lives. Guests also enjoyed an introduction to acupuncture, complete with a demo featuring sweet Carly, who was the perfect patient.

Thank you to the Golden Retriever Club of Dallas for the warm welcome and for the opportunity to talk about integrative and specialty care. We loved spending time with such a passionate group of dog lovers!

Celebrating Kilo! This lovable pit bull mix came through our ER service in respiratory distress secondary to fungal disease and was transferred to our Critical Care service for critical support. After doing wonderfully with treatment, Kilo was able to head home off oxygen - a huge win for this sweet pup! We’re so thrilled for Kilo, his family, and everyone involved in his care.

Before your next walk, do the 7-second test! If the back of your hand can’t stay on the pavement for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for your pet’s paws.

Hot pavement can cause painful burns, even when the air temperature doesn’t seem extreme. When possible, walk during cooler parts of the day and stick to shaded or grassy areas.

🚨 If your pet experiences burned paw pads, heat exhaustion, or any other emergency, visit us immediately. Our emergency teams are here 24/7 to help.

This is Havoc. He arrived tired and underweight; he left with a wag and a plan. Our Internal Medicine team diagnosed an esophageal stricture and transitioned him to liquid medications and food to keep him comfortable and nourished.
His family never missed a dose or a check-in. Today, Havoc’s stricture has improved significantly—and his spirit is shining again.
We’re so proud of Havoc and grateful to his people for trusting us with his care.
