What does a de-shed do?
It's a special rake with innovative gripping hooks (no blades) that pull only the fur that is ready to shed. This means less fur ingested by your cat (and fewer hairballs puked up) less fur being all around the house, on clothes and less combing between baths.

Let me just tell you guys... the ad for this product that continues to pop up everywhere just makes me laugh.
I've made comments on it multiple times and they keep deleting them because they just want to sell these ridiculous things.
This is not an automatic grooming machine! 😂
It will not help anyone control shedding or keep hair off your sofa.... This is basically a glorified, overpriced lint trap that only rubs on the outer areas of your cat's body to catch whatever is resting on the surface, it's not going to go deep enough to actually get your cat de-shed properly.
Not to mention the cat they picked to use for this particular advertisement is so dirty and this product will do absolutely nothing to get deep into that tangled, greasy coat... I'm just cringing 😬🫣
Don’t waste your money on these gimmicks people.... it's not going to do anything but take up a couple square feet of your floor space.
Just bathe your cat people!
