It is so easy to get caught up in the chaos of life - work, bills, social media, relationships, etc and we forget what we need.

Nervous System regulation.
Space.
Freedom.
Curiosity.
Fresh air.
Experiences.
Quiet.

There was a purpose for the early canine-human relationships and though that has certainly changed overtime, I do believe they still have a gift we often overlook. They are what connects us to nature. What brings us back to reality. What keeps us sane through the highs and lows of life.

The least we can do is go spend some time outside with them.

They need it just as much as we do.

This your donation to The Love Pit makes an impact that can change the trajectory of shelter dogs life!

Your donation helps support our HQ facility, the place I am lucky enough to work at and pursue my passions, but more importantly the place that 8 resident dogs call home. Your donation supports the individual care they need as well as the facility itself - ensure upgrades and maintenance can be completed to improve the quality of care we provide.

Your donation goes so much further to help our thrive progam, our community support missions - iRehome & iStayhome, and our medical care for the foster dogs in our program.

The pitties in Dallas need you and we need you. The only way we can to continue to save the bully breeds is through your support.

it’s about safety, communication, and connection!

The more we try to control our dogs, the easier it is to get frustrated that we don’t get the results we want.

We have to practice giving up control, and learn to build a partnership with our dogs.
