Recent rescues, Daisy & Duke are doing great at their foster home!

They all did a pack walk to get acquainted with SPIN foster Bernard, who is also in their foster home and they are doing great with him, very tolerant of his puppy energy.

Daisy and Duke are already fixed, so we will be also getting them listed for adoption shortly! They are very sweet and friendly. Daisy is a little unsure about the TV 😂

Bernard is the tall one in the middle of the pack walk (he is currently available for adoption). Daisy has the gray ears and Duke is a little chunkier and all white.

Cloud was adopted yesterday and will now have a forever home that includes former SPIN dog Penelope (now June), 4 kids, and their parents.

Cloud, the one on her back getting belly rubs, came from an animal neglect case. Thanks to her foster family, she gained confidence (and weight) and ending up stealing the hearts of everyone she met.

It's such an amazing experience to see these SPIN rescued dogs transform and then complete a family.

🐾 We invite others to be part of the SPIN community as we offer many opportunities to be involved, from transporting the dogs, temp fostering while other foster volunteers are on vacation, SPIN event planning to reviewing adoption applications and other administrative duties.

❤️‍🩹 We pulled Snowy from a local shelter this morning, and unfortunately, what we thought would be a regular rescue just in need of a good grooming has turned into an urgent medical rescue

After settling into her foster home, she began showing odd symptoms. She seems to have a terrible vaginal infection and ear infections.

Her foster family took her straight to the ER because the vaginal infection was severe and might be pyometra, which can be life-threatening.

Pyometra is a bacterial infection that causes the uterus to fill with pus and can lead to sepsis and organ failure if left untreated.

We are glad we got her in time to catch it and get her the care she needed.

Foster Home Needed!
1 yr old male Great Pyrenees, 75lbs, at risk of euthanasia due to shelter being overcrowded.

Described by volunteer as: The sweetest boy. He loves everyone - he looks at you like - are you my person? He is 1 year old and scared to death - he is a little shy until he realizes you are there to give him lovin!

No other shelter notes, but approved SPIN fosters are welcome to do a meet and greet at shelter.

Fosters must be local to DFW area Texas for vetting and support reasons.

Puppies coming to SPIN Rescue!

Tomorrow we are picking up these 6 'little' ones and we could use your help with donations for puppy supplies!

Freedom Ride for Duke & Daisy!

They were best friends at the shelter and did really well in the play yard together. Both 2-3 yrs old, very friendly, and good with other dogs.

We are looking forward to getting to know them more and help them find their forever families!

Adopt Bobby! He is a friendly, playful, very sweet male Great Pyrenees. Approximately 1yrs old with potential to weigh up to 80 lbs.

Bobby loves everyone. He does well with the cat and dog in his foster home. Plus he does great when the grandchildren come over.

He is still young, very playful and puppy-like, but will settle down and want to lay beside you. He loves toys and chews.

Bobby enjoys walks, he does pull on the leash at times. Loves the car and walks up the ladder to get in.

While his foster family loves him dearly, they think he would flourish in a home with children and another playful dog.

Bobby is currently in a foster home in DFW area, Texas. Out of area adopters are responsible for arranging their own transport as we don't provide any. Bobs is neutered and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $250.

UPDATE: While we found foster homes for all 9 puppies, the shelter staff has let us know they want to do public adoptions at this time and not have the dogs go into rescue. They will let us know if anything changes. Thank you everyone who shared and applied.

*Please note, we never claimed to have these puppies in our care but we were looking to find foster homes for them so we could pull them from the shelter. We are a foster home based rescue so we will never pull a dog without a spot for it to land.

FOSTER HOME NEEDED. 3 puppies left! They must all go to a foster home together.

2 males, 1 female. Foster to adopt if you are interested in keeping one.

We have found spots for their 6 siblings but really don't want to leave these 3 behind at the shelter 😭

SPIN Rescue will cover vaccines, neuter/spay, food, and provide supplies. Our volunteers can help with dog sitting if you have a trip coming up.

Puppy fosters must have an older dog in the home to teach manners and play. Must be local to DFW area TX for support and vetting reasons.

Welcome to SPIN Rescue, Riley! ✨

She is a very sweet 1 yr old (maybe younger) Great Pyrenees mix that has been overlooked at a shelter for the last 6 weeks.

Good with dogs and house trained!

She will soon be available for adoption.

All now in a shelter. Moms are only 1yr old. Puppies are 2 months old, there are 4 females, 5 males. Puppies must go to foster homes in pairs or trios.

Foster homes must be local to DFW area Texas. Puppy foster homes must have an older dog to teach manners and play.
