🕯️🐾 Honoring Our Beloved Fur Babies This Día de los Mu***os 🐾🕯️

This Día de los Mu***os, we will be creating a special altar to honor and remember the beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈❤️

Our pets leave paw prints on our hearts that last a lifetime, and we would love to celebrate the love, joy, and beautiful memories they left behind. 🐶🐱💐

If you would like to be part of our tribute, we invite you to drop off a small photo of your beloved pet (no larger than 4x6 inches) for us to place on our altar. Photos can be given to any of our front desk staff members. Each photo will be a special way to remember the little souls who made such a big impact on our lives.

It would be our honor to help honor their memory and keep their spirits close to our hearts. ❤️🐾

🍫🦄🐾 Meet Ruby — our very own Dalmatian unicorn! 🐾🦄🍫

Ruby is a liver-spotted Dalmatian, and those gorgeous chocolate-colored spots make her a little extra special! 🤎✨

Liver is a recessive coat color, meaning both of Ruby’s parents had to carry the liver gene for her beautiful coloring to make its appearance. 🧬🐶

Because liver-spotted Dalmatians are less common, we lovingly call Ruby our “unicorn.” 🦄🤎 She’s rare, unique, and absolutely impossible not to love!

And here’s a fun genetics fact: when two liver-spotted Dalmatians have puppies, all of their puppies will be liver-spotted! 🤎🤎

So basically… Ruby is living proof that sometimes the rarest things are also the cutest. 🥰🦄🐾

Today we had the pleasure of meeting the very handsome Yoda! 💚 Yoda is an Abyssinian, a beautiful breed known for their unique ticked coats, big personalities, and curious nature.

✨ Did you know? Abyssinians are considered one of the oldest recognized cat breeds! While their exact ancestry is still a bit of a mystery, the modern Abyssinian breed was developed primarily in Britain during the 1800s.

Little Miss Sophie dressed up for us yesterday. She wasn’t too thrilled that she still had to get boosters though. Luckily for us, even after the boosters, she purred letting us know she forgave us as long as we promised we would tell everyone how beautiful she looked in her dress 😻

We're celebrating the incredible Veterinary Assistants who keep our hospital running every single day!

From comforting nervous pets and assisting in procedures to supporting our doctors and clients, their compassion, dedication, and hard work make all the difference.

We recently learned there are actually a few different times throughout the year dedicated to celebrating Veterinary Assistants, so we decided this was the perfect week to recognize our amazing team!
