Pseudohemiodon apithanos is a unique species of loricaria from the Amazon River Basin with a really interesting behavior. They love to bury themselves beneath a layer of sand with just their eyes sticking out to keep watch for predators or potential food!

Our first shipment of the new year! A fairly even mix of nano, community, and monster fish! A real highlight from this shipment is all the more uncommon freshwater gobies! The birdsong gobies are nicely colored up, while the lentipes species are starting to show a bit more. Come in this week to check out our new fish now that the ice is starting to melt!
